Thanks for the separate Cap Exchange Value mod. Definitely one of the pains as it is entirely possible to win big on the roulette, so before even going on the strip, in a playthrough recently, I had made 150k in the Atomic Wrangler by getting lucky. And trying to repeat that luck at Vicky & Vance was a huge pain only being able to convert 1000 caps at a time. I needed to go through the buy-in process 150 times.. With this mod I only need to do it 30 times ? much better but still hurts my hand just thinking about it.
Nice mod, works well. I'm very ole skoole and been play Blackjack on this game since release as well in the real world since back in the 60s. This also changed up the hands dealt and a lot less Push, which is good. Also got my very first Super Sevens, after all these years, right after installing this mod and playing at the Tops.
do comps still work, and what levels given the adjusted higher max?
answer: yes. at exactly 10x the normal comp values, plus 1%. meaning, normally if your first comp is at 2200, now it's at 22000, but activates on your next win amount over 22000.
At a max bet of 1000 chips you're winning 2000 per hand, 3000 on natural 21s, and 4000 if you double down. Doesn't that kind of cancel out the effect of higher winning limits?
It would kind of cancel out the higher winning limit if your numbers were correct! But in fact the aren't even close. Did you try the mod? I'm thinking you did not, Reason for that is because your numbers do not match the actual payouts and make to sense in the first place.

Also you do not need you place a Max Bet everytime you play or ever at all for that matter. I made the limits what they are to give players the option to bet higher if they want to. It is not a requirement to do so.

Yea, I'm using the mod myself, and it's definitely 1,000 for 1,000 regularly, 2,000 for 1,000 if you double down. and 1,200 for 1,000 for natural 21's. I'm not sure where you're getting that equation from.
