Actually got around to downloading this, and the first thing I noticed was the steep price with the weaponry. I guess story-wise it makes sense because they're pristine pre-war weaponry, but from a gameplay standpoint these prices are absolutely ridiculous. For example, the GP9 was 25,000 caps, that's almost the same price as the Bozar!
Also a little side note. The texture on the charging handles doesn't seem to have a texture and will flicker constantly. It may be because of the Weapon Retexture Project I downloaded. I suggest fixing this by simply adding a custom texture. It was the only thing keeping me from using these weapons, except for the OICW and the GA416, which are beautiful nifskope weapons.
EDIT: Turned out I needed to activate archive invalidation. Oops. Great weapons (except the GMP-2 and the GMP9k aren't held correctly, but that's the game's fault).
Hey, not sure if this is something anyone else has noticed, but the Iron Sights seem to sit lower than the middle of the screen. For example, on the MP5SD6, the actual area of fire is at the top of the circle around the front sight (when aimed in). Though, they work perfect when you just hip fire. Also happens when equipped with Holos or Acogs. Thanks!
I've heard of such problems if you use Project Nevada but none the less this is something I plan to fix later (Working on a project to fix MANY problems with my guns...)
just go to the files tab below the pictures, Then click on download manually! (Or if you use Nexus Mod Manager Click the green " Download With Manager" button. "
These are some great looking weapons. The black parts on some of the guns reflect oddly like wood, and upon closer inspection, it is. This might just be my problem, though, but that really bothers me.
These are hands down the best nifskoped weapons, and they do fit in with vanilla weapons. Great job!
In regards to the wood shine its because the texture file that handles shine and reflection still think the OG Parts are wood, its something i'm trying to fix in my new mods. And thank you !
I installed the mod and I'm having trouble finding the location of the store. I traveled east from Mojave Outpost all the way to Nipton and didn't see anything. Maybe post a picture of the location of the map?
I thought the 3rd picture of this mod showed the guy holding an MPX, which isn't german it's manafactured by the Swiss Arms, nothing German about it but then I checked the weapon list to see it must instead be the MP5K. My bad I thought, then I noticed near the bottom of the list it says SG553... Last time I checked mate the SG553 is also manafactured by Swiss Arms. SG means Sig, as in Sig Sauer, the same manafacturer behind the SG553, SG553, SG550 (And SG550 Sniper variant). The P220, P226, you get the idea.
So just letting you know SG553 has nothing to do with any german weapons manafacturer or design, at least according to the informtion I have learn about it (considering it's my favorite gun of all time)
Actually you are right! Except SIG Sauer didn't make the SG550 Series or the P220 Series, Their creators SIG (Now Swiss arms AG) Developed the rifles and handguns, SIG Sauer is the name of the American based company that handles import and sales of Swiss arms and partners firearms exports. BUT, The SG Stands for SturmGewehr and when translated from German means Assault Rifle, so HA GERMAN! (That was sarcasm just in case)
