I wouldn't recommend the link Semgee sent, I've tried it and when entering a new cell ed-e vanishes into thin air, this was happening very often. It's sad because it's very nice. It may work on it's own but I haven't tried it since I want to use Ed-e the random sounds.
is there any reason why the little lights on ed-e aren't glowing for me? they glow red in some of the pictures you posted, in others they look the same
its from fallout new california if you have it that would explain it, I didnt download this mod either and I have it too,I just downloaded to see where are those files are but nowhere in my data folder,so it occured to me it has to be inside some bsa files and was right, textures and meshes inside the new california bsa files

Even though only this might only involves the companion version of ED-E, what about the ED-E from Lonesome road? Because I really don't want to miss anything before I download this
