And btw. Ramsay is not essential but actually very durable. Though I myself played hardcore very hard to lvl 20 and he didn't die once, if you need to be him essential:
open console -> click on ramsay -> write 'gbo' which will give you his code back -> write 'setessential <ramsay gbo code> 1' -> done
Again, ramsay doesn't really need it, but if, here you go. Cheers
Well, I'm glad to know that he's not too much of a burden. I like to play on hardcore myself so I needed him to be tough, probably too tough for the folks who play on easy.
Next time I travel the Lonesome Road I'll let him fight Rawr alone to see if he can actually be beaten by an npc. If even that beast can't beat him then it's pretty safe to assume that only the player can kill him. Thanks for providing the commands anyway, it might helps those who are extra paranoid and thank for you support ! ^^
Brilliant. Was looking for a fully working and unbugged glowing ghoul companion for some time. It is such a blast in combination with Yukichigai's playable ghoul mod: The radioactive blast does not affect you as negatively as a human would. In contrary, being a ghoul you have a natural resistance to RAD where the RAD subsides over time. Even more, having severe radioactive poisoning effects will induce slight health regeneration effects on you.
I think of Ramsay as a big brother who suffered an accident of being locked in a room while trying to retake the infested Vault 34 for the NCR for the sake of large quantities of armory inventory and also investigate the contimation produced by the vault reactor (quest "Hard Luck Blues"). Being ghoulified with the rest of little brain that he had left and out of instinct, Ramsay went to the last place he has seen his brother at the train station in order to find him, where he is discovered by him by coincedence (or equally instict induced motivation). Staying together since they seek their place in Mojave doing mercenary work. At the same time, the fear of Ramsay has condemned them to strive along the land by humans and ghouls equally. Humorously other ghouls despice Ramsay and his borher, calling the last one by the nickname "I am with stupid.", hence the name of my character.
I don't have much experience in 3D modelling & animations so it wouldn't be easy, but I do like the idea of Ramsay wearing different armours according to the player's affinity with the 4 major factions ( With a more "unique" style for the Wild Card path maybe ). So it's possible, but I don't think I'll have the time to do this, sorry.
great mod i recently made my first mod and it just follows nothing else i would like something better like yours can you help my steam name is foxinthesky [trademark sign] and my Skype is Logan hall please contact me i would like dialoug and a c wheel i promise i will credit you in all my companion mods and or npc mods and will help you with anything you need that i know about fallout or other games or programs please help - a fellow modder
Well, I would recommend reading this tutorial : http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/45278/? It taught me pretty much everything I know ( not much actually ) about making companions. The scripts used in my mod are the same and by the end of the tutorial you should be able to make a decent companion. I would also recommend this website : http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php?title=Main_Page . It's always handy when you don't know what a function does in the geck. But I reckon reading ( especially technical reading ) isn't always fun, so I'll look into it.
