more or less, you can have him as a follower with the looks from the overhaul, but some options don´t work (I can´t have him use the ranged weapon and I have no talk option to have him change his clothing, he just walks around in legion armor eeeverywhere) A patch for this would be awesome :)
So, I actually managed to make it work using FNVEdit. Needed a lot of trial and error but he looks awesome and works as a follower as intended.
I ran into an issue where it'll let me recruit Vulpes but he won't follow me unless I fast travel, and anytime I fast travel away from the Fort he just starts walking back. I have no other mods installed besides this one I don't understand what's happening :(
Been using this mod for a year or two (or three) now. Found a funny quirk: Since he can follow you into Caesar's tent, he will participate in dueling with Benny.
Open all your mods in xEdit then check Vulpes under NPC.
YUP will overwrite this mod's packages, amongst other things, in bashed patch so every time you remake bashed patch you'll need to remove its entry from the bashed patch.
Either that or make sure to load this mod after the bashed patch, near the end of your load order.
weird bug i experienced - while using functional post game ending, and doing the legion ending, vulpes simply dissapears from the map, the pipboy still tells me hes somewhere (in my case, the place i spawned after the hoover dam battle) but he is nowhere to be actually seen
For some reason it doesn't seem to be working for me- I have an accepted roll with the legion but the option for him to follow doesn't even appear. I just finished getting the boomers to side with the legion.
edit- it doesn't work with Caesars New Regime - Legion Overhaul but ALSO the mod doesn't have any voice acting in general. With Vulpes AND with other npcs.
