We like to listen to our fans, so a new version is up!
The new version adds Cabinets, as requested, it adds in a double door that we missed, and adds a few skill checks. If you are really low intelligence, you will not be able to figure out how to open the door. You may cut yourself on the glass when reaching over, and there is an even higher chance of cutting yourself on a cabinet with all that glass, so watch out! The higher your agility, the less chance of getting cut.
There is also the "Peasant version", for those who choose to cheat (I mean, come on, it's an immersion mod! ) . Regardless, it is there, it will allow you to open all the cabinets and doors without the skill check or damage.
This was absolutely necessary, kudos to you. I'll endorse it later if it works fine. You have no idea how many times I've seen a wooden door that "needed" a key... like for some reason you couldn't smash the glass or wood and turn the knob on the other side -_-
Just so you are aware, the very few of these doors that DO need an actual key, will still need it. We had to write our script to bypass key level doors to ensure we did not break any quests (In either game, since this is Tale of Two Wastelands compatible.) Aside from that, I assure you it works exactly as described.
Absolutely. But that still would account for only doors that use that model, meaning mod-added doors that copied it and retextured it would not be affected. With some ingenuity, you could probably think of stuff for the code to evaluate that would cause them to be affected as well.
No matter how dumb someone is, pretty much anyone would be able to figure out how to open a door by reaching over to the door knob on the other side in real life.
First of all, I understand why this mod exists, but most interior doors can't be opened from the inside. Cabinets can't either. It's just my two cents.
i alway's just figured it was because they're the kinda door that deadbolts when locked, and don't have the knobby thing you can twist to open it on one side still a really important mod
who doesnt max intelligence gives you more points each time you level up the other stuff arent as good as max intelligence anyway well thats how i play

There's a couple of dirty edits and ITM's that need to be cleaned, so until/if author updates this, you will need to clean it manually in xEdit.
Cheers
still a really important mod
