Late to the party here but this tutorial is very well done. The basic steps can also be applied to Skyrim SE and Fallout 4 meshes. Transform controllers and animation blocks don't seem as intimidating after going through your demos. Thanks Pixelhate for a very concise and quality tutorial.
I have been trying to get it working but it just wouldn't work. I have tried glow animation, emission animation but it wont just do anything in game. The structure is exactly the same as examples and well understood by me. I dont know why the neons wont glow?
You're welcome. I guess the base system should be the same. There's another tutorial for animating textures in Skyrim, it might even be closer to FO4 system or naming. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47104/? Hope it helps!
maybe i´ll try to use it for a future version of my AMCDF, current it work with "swap texture" lol yeah, eg for the laserbeam and the taclight ( * )- you made a really good tut - my one is chaos lol ( * ) the most of the material controller i leaned with trial and error - but i think i can improve my skill with your tut - thx again - for it
Great to see you sharing this over on the New Vegas Nexus as well as Fallout 3.
This is an excellent, comprehensive guide for learning to set up animated textures. The example .nif's are the icing on the cake that will really help those wanting to learn these techniques.
It's surprisingly easy to set up animated textures once you learn the basics & with a little imagination they can add a real touch of magic to models.
Thank-you kindly for taking the time to put these together & sharing them with the community.
when i try to view the .nifs with geck preview it just shows a red diamond with the white "!" in the middle did i do something wrong? I have been looking for something like this hopping it will teach me the kinda animations i am needing for my mod thank you so much for your work and effort to help others
Waiting for servers update to download... Thanks for sharing this and to have taken time to make these tuto usable by beginners !, From what i've already seen it's an awesome value !

Was it of any use for your Ammo Counter Display?
