This mod was a request, and as always, I'm happy to help. It was a good chance to try out my scripting skills too, so here we are. The file requires the Dead Money DLC.
I've added a golden bottlecap press to the Cap Counterfeiting Shack, in the basement. With it, you can turn a gold bar into 500 golden bottlecaps. These caps can be sold for 20 regular caps each - a good profit, methinks. That's all, really.
- UPDATE JUN 16: The golden bottlecaps are now classified as caravan money, so they will sell for a fixed price instead of depending on the player's barter skill. The old golden bottlecaps for the first release are not obtainable anymore, but if you are updating from an old version you will still have them in your inventory. They will have been renamed to "Damaged Golden Bottle Cap" so you can know which is which. These damaged caps will have a different price depending on your bartering prowess.
To install, extract the contents of your downloaded file to your "Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout New Vegas/Data" folder. Then activate the mod through your preferred launcher by ticking the checkbox next to the esp. Or you can use the Mod Manager to download the mod automatically. To uninstall, simply delete the files from your Data folder, and you're good to go. Have fun!
