What texture replacers are you using for the weapon mods to look like that? Vanilla ones make them look pretty bleh and they don't fit the rest of the weapon much. Also, my character's fingers don't quite make it to the trigger, but that's not a big issue.

hey great mod, I installed it and started a new game and made a mad dash for it right after good springs , but its a pretty decent mod and well worth almost dying at level 5. keep it and your skills will improve. I'd love to see the shotgun get done as a mod.

I am planning to do the shotgun and machine gun from Bioshock 1, but my current modeling abilities are limited to bashing together meshes in nifskope. I am unsure whether to go ahead and ghetto-bash the other two guns, or actually try my hand at legit modeling first.

This looks fairly well made. Don't doubt yourself, I'm sure you can do it. Never been able to get good at either Nifskope or Blender myself, so I'd be impressed regardless of how they turn out. If they turn out anything like this, I'd be especially so.

You can try and add more polygons to make the gun (Rapture Pistol) look less jagged on some edges, also polishing the textures on the gun can improve it towards a new level. Don't get me wrong this work you made doesn't look a tad bit as broad and stale as some other bored modders did on a few rushed models for certain weapons. Your work shows that you can be very devoted to what you do, and i am sure you will eventually try and improve upon your work when you are able to. Endorsed and tracked! This is promising, congrats mate.

Believe in yourself. I loved the pistol and have no doubt that you can make the shotgun and machine gun.

ok...im not going to be all "THIS IS FRIKEN AWESOME!" ok, even in the picture provided by YOU the mod author, you can clearly see in the bioshock version, there is ALOT of stuff you missed, you missed the gold metal straps around the gun, and the barrel...omg dont even get me started...ok fine i started it, the iron site...VERY OFF! the barrel itself...off, this gun needs a whole new modeling, even the designs on the grip are different, i see the similarities but this gun isnt what it states itself to be, nice gun, half decent try but not the rapture pistol

I did no modelling on this gun. It is only a lookalike bashed together in nifksope from existing fallout meshes. I may come around one day to actually trying to model it in Blender, but not any time soon.

Personally I'm rather glad you didn't make it exactly like the pistol from Bioshock. It's fine that your version looks largely inspired by the design of Bioshock version and it fits the Fallout-verse better, IMO. Looks like somebody just took a revolver, some various bits and pieces and made a highly-customized weapon.

I look forward to seeing what you mash together for the shotgun and machine gun.

How do you get the bullets in the extended mag like that? I got a bug where the damn shells texture's at the wrong place and idk if its vanilla or CalibrX but the casings on your screenshots look better

EDIT: i found a way to get a fix for the other weapons but for some reason the textures are still wrong at the extended clip with your weapon...

Hmm... The bullet casing meshes and textures are purely vanilla. If you have an ammo mod like CalibrX, it probably uses different meshes and textures and hence the vanilla meshes wont work with the CalibrX textures.

I'll try to disable CalibrX and see if it fixes it then

Or I could make the textures standalone.
