I always know that these supposed messages from Doc are lies. Who do you think is the one commissioning all these weapons and why he allows me to live and work in his house? That's right, Doc "Lord of War" Mitchell.
Wish I could figure out what I am doing...Trying to do one myself but so lost (Walther P38 with scope/stock/silencer mods to look like G1 Megatron in gun mode)
Hmm you know I had a problem with the Ruger's normals too. I'm starting to wonder if my copy of Photoshop is doing funny things to me because I know I flipped the green on this and the Ruger's release :| I'll load it up again here tonight.
The ACR is still waiting for new animations done by 11meister. I'll send him a message to see how he's coming along with them.
Just a thought, you may want to specify what class of firearm this is... For those of us who are not gun nuts. Yea, we 'could' google it, but you 'could' tell us on the description.
Funny you say that Godzillafan93, because in the film "Equilibrium" the Walther WA 2000 made an appearance as a shotgun.
EDIT: And somehow I didn't see germi's post saying as much...
I guess the only "problem" I have with the mod, and its not really a problem with Fallout being in an alternate timeline, is that in real life there were less than 200 WA 2000s manufactured by Walther. That would make this gun impossibly rare by 2077 let alone 2281 and that silly little destruction of civilization thing in the middle.
Then it wouldn't be a Walther WA 2000, it would be more like the Ironwood Designs SG-2000 (which is a .22 LR instead of the Walther's .308 Winchester). I'm more willing to accept the timeline divergence in this case.
You're taking the game to serious. Alternative timeline is the keyword. In the game the US got power armor, stealth boy, laser and plasma based weapons but the culture is get stuck in the McCarthy era...or so called "McCarthyism"..
In Fallout 2 you could use the H&K G11, a special gun with special cartridges. In the real world this gun had only prototype status, so the chance to get one of this guns or ammunition after 200 years is lesser than getting a WA 2000.
That's exactly why I mentioned the alternate timeline stuff when I brought it up. It bugs me a tiny bit as a person who likes realism but I can let it go as a person who likes alternate realities.... I may be a contradictory person but in all honesty, who isn't at some level? In the end I was just pointing out the differences between our version of history and what could be possible in Fallout's history.
yeah, but those variants are apart of the "only 200 made" deally
176 made, actually, most of them in .300 Win Mag. IRL, a brand new WA2000 in the unopened box costs more than a transferable M16 ($20,000+, in other words).
Still beats the Pancor Jackhammer's record though. Only -two- of those ugly-ass things were ever made IRL, and they're both in museums.

Download G.E.C.K. and you can look them up yourself instead of having to wait for someone to answer
I come with a message from Doc Mitchell.....
"Stop putting guns in my house! The ATF and FBI kicked in my door this morning for a raid!"
Seriously though, nice job.

Btw Naky, iam not sure if iam wrong but the normal maps are flipped or why the scope and the rest looks like a normal low poly?

Never seen the James Bond Movie "The Living Daylights"? Bond used a WA 2000 in it.

Or used in the Hitman game-series.
In the movie "Equilibrium" the WA 2000 actual was misused as a pump action shotgun...
Come on, it is kind of obvious that this rifle is a sniper rifle.
