you do know that there are real dubstep guns in the game. they are in old world blues. there 4 of them. opera is my favorite dubstep gun. You should have use those models for this. it world be more lore friendly.

If you're using NMM, you need to click on the Plugins tab and scroll down until you see dubstepGuns.esp. Check the load order number of it, then count five past that one. Mine is 2B, so adding five to that makes it 30. Yours will be different. With that in mind, you need to open your game and type in player.additem XX000ae0 1 where the XX is replaced by the load order+5. It's a little ass-backwards, but it's something to keep in mind when using NMM.

Can you explain how adding +5 to 2B makes it 30?! Cheers.

Sooo....uhh.....yeah, I used the NMM to download this, and I did exactly what you said to spawn it, load order and everything. It's not working. My friend manually downloaded the mod and spawned it, and it worked. I feel more comfortable using the NMM, so I'm really reluctant to do that. Any sort of help would be appreciated.

its because nmm is shit. i personaly extensively moded oblivion, fallout 3, fallout new vegas and skyrim and it is better if you actualy take the time to read the readme file and to put everything manualy. that way, only1 mod out of 40 won't work.
contrary to the nmm metod that will break 23 out of 30 mod easily.

Yeah, well, I'm not very good at manually modding games. I'm not confident enough to trust myself to do it right. And I CERTAINLY don't need some jerk like you acting all high-and-mighty for knowing how to do it without the manager.

      But seriously, screw you buddy.

(Late reply because I left FNV for a while and am now coming back.)

I'm also really inexperienced at modding games and modding FNV has been my first but it's not to bad. When you download it manually you can look through all the files and usually the readme does explain quite well. (unless the modder is an arsehole). Most of the time all I've needed to do is copy the files in the mod and paste in the data folder in the game file(folders like 'textures' usually merge on their own but i'm using windows 8 so I can't say anything for other systems)
I'm sure you can ask other people for help on the forums.

P.s I Also just made a copy of the whole data file in case I screwed anything up. tbh still no idea what i'm doing but everything's still working so it's kl for now lol

Seriously, I have 154 (and counting) active mods installed on Fallout NV using NMM and LOOT.
Only had issues with a couple of mods and that was because of conflicts and me being stupid.
And maybe try to sound like less of a prick, it isnt a nice trait..

Don't know how to convert stuff into Hexadecimal.
Also don't know what fuckin' number the weapon is in my load order.
Just place it in the world already, stop being lazy.

I plan to do so for the next update. And it's not that I'm being lazy, it's that I couldn't really think of a place to put it where it would make sense. Also, next update should be coming soonish, It's actually surprisingly difficult to pull of the charging feature, as fallout bugs out when ammo usage is too high, and fires the weapon anyway, still triggering the scripts. I'm trying to figure out a way to make a second ammo item count up with the microbreeder ammo (you can't detect microbreeder ammo), to use as a dummy item to tell how much ammo there actually is in the gun. I think I'm going to attempt to remove the microbreeder entirely, and just make it so it regens the dummy ammo, and in doing so, make a limit on the ammount of dummy ammo you can have.
