Adds the Sortomatic system to The Sink.

This mod adds the popular Sortomatic Inventory Sorting System to The Sink in the DLC Old World Blues. It should provide seamless updating from the vanilla containers to a full Sortomatic system. Sink O Matic has most of the great features that you've come to love including all the crafting containers! I did not add any of Sortomatic's display items because I wanted to keep The Sink as close to its original design as possible. Its features include:

  • All containers scripted for Sortomatic!
  • Sortomatic crafting stations you can craft from without having to retrieve supplies!
  • Workbench!
  • Reloading Bench!
  • Crafting Hot Plate!
  • Convenient location of the system at the main entrance!
  • Aesthetically pleasing layout looks fantastic in my opinion!
  • Everything is out of the way so it doesn't clutter the layout of the home!
  • All the extra storage you will ever need!

I know Fallout: New Vegas is getting a little long in the tooth, but if I get a decent response from this mod, I'd like to turn the system into another personality like Toaster, Muggy and the others. If I do so, I'll definitely add a quest for the player to find the lost personality files. So if you have any ideas, please post in my comments!

On a personal note, I'd like to thank tunaisafish and Gribbleshnibit8 for their work in creating Sortomatic and offering it for us to use.

This mod requires THREE resources to work:

Once you have all of those installed you're good to go. Install the mod with the Nexus Mod Manager or manually just as you would any other mod. Obviously, this mod needs to go below Sortomatic in your load order, but the Mod Manager should put it there automatically since it's a plugin file and Sortomatic is a Master file.

There should be no problems with adding this mod to an existing game, but I highly recommend making a new hard save before making it active in your load order.

Though not required, I also suggest you remove your gear from the vanilla containers before activating so that the system does not store what you had placed in those containers in its memory. It's not a big deal if it does, but it will probably make it easier to set all your Default Destinations by removing your gear. That way you're starting with a clean slate. Please see my video above for more details on this.

Please endorse the mod, and let me know what you think in my comments!
