maybe make the howitzer fire the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Nellis_Artillery_Shell ,it is the non playable (but still usable if you use console commands) and is the weapon used when you run to nellis (aka the actual howitzer shells XD)
that ammo even makes a special sound when flying trough the air and howitzers are normally bombardment type weapons ((similliar to mortars))
keep in mind and try to add it in the future =D
edit:i was able to "equip" the howitzer but when getting off it,i seem to be stuck in first person and am unable to equip or use my weapons
pss:where is the howitzer,i went to nellis AFB and the only howitzer that has an "activate" option is a building away from the hangars,but selecting it (when activate apears) does nothing...
where is it at XD ,and if that was the right one,what's wrong ?

EDIT:i am able to use it after saving and loading...but when i dismount the howitzer,i am stuck in first person + can't equip any guns,little help?
EDIT:nvm on all i prev. said,i can bypass the bug by walking away and love this mod.
my NCR general brought an mg post and the howitzer to someguy2000's checkpoint garry (mg on the smaller side where enemies aprouch and the howitzer by the wall on the side with a huge area (lots of distance so that i can shoot them enemy far away) ...it is very fun and smooth,you make amazing mods mate =P
