1200 rounds per minute? This should be listed as a god gun.

like i said the dps isnt really high enough to be a god gun but thank you for the advice i may lower it a bit
EDIT: also i was only trying to be realistic because that is what the fire rate actualy was of the Colt 1911 special

Have you made the pistol fully automatic? There is no way a semi-automatic pistol can let off that many rounds.

1200 rpm is higher than the average machine gun, for example more than double the rate of an M60 machine gun (550 RPM), or twice the rate of an AK47 (600RPM).

I don't mean to be discouraging by the way, you are off to a good start on your first mod.

full auto pistol usually fire much faster than ARs (AK47) or LMGs(M60)
the fire rate is actualy based off of the theoretical fire rate of glock 18 full auto which is around 1200 rpm

Even a M-16 or G36 (900 -950 rpm) aren´t that fast. But the reason they´re not faster is the accuracy. I don´t think that a pistol would be used to a range of 400 meter, and in a CQC it´s better to have higher fire rates

If he left it semi-auto then it just as fast as you can pull the trigger which is realistic for this weapon. The human finger can't move fast enough to capitalize on that anyways. I do like how he went and got the actual rate of fire for it though.

Fair enough, I didn't realise there was a fully automatic variant of the 1911. Did a little research and found the experimental version designed by Dillinger in the 30s. I think it would be cool if you worked on the model a bit to distinguish it from the Honest Hearts .45 Auto Pistol.

Take a look at these photos if you haven't already seen them, this is what the Mafia II gun is also based on.

if i can find a fore-grip and barrel i will add them to the standard model
EDIT: i will add them to a separate model because most likely they will be parts from other dlcs besides honest hearts

I look forward to seeing what you come up with! Good Luck!

Edit: By the way, according to that page the fore grip used in the experimental version was actually based on that of the M1928 (Tommy Gun) so you might be able to use the fore grip from the Honest Hearts .45 SMG. Hope that helps.
I also just noticed that in one of those pictures it says the rate of fire was around 700, and were normally chambered in .38.
