The reason this mod is not lore friendly is because DoG does not need this equipment. 1) He is FEV subject and as such his cells regenerate, offsetting the cloud impact 2) He can eat ghost people, so no real armor is needed for this. They dont have guns.
Nevertheless, this is a mod and its good it exists.
in fallout 2 i believe one of the enclave top dogs (no pun intended) was a super mutant in power armor. Im not 100% sure but i believe i am correct. Its the person you kill on the oil rig thats the "boss" for the boss battle.
If you have any mods that alter or replace the goggles and rebreather, that is probably the problem. Though, I don't use the geck, yet, and I'm a beginner. So, take that with a grain of salt.

I found two Dogs in the holding cell. I really like the look but I'd rather not use the mod if it causes an issue like that. Who knows what else might happen.
Why can't people make more mods like this? Or make another super mutant companion mod with voice acting? Instead I'm stuck with a mentally deranged nightkin. (I'm talking about lily by the way.)
can you make an overhaul mod, giving all or most Super Mutants with the armor and mask ? I just like the idea or giant brutes with full metal armor and mask

I really like the look but I'd rather not use the mod if it causes an issue like that. Who knows what else might happen.
