Although the FN P90 was chambered for 5mm, the HK P90c (built under licence?) was chambered for 10mm. Any reason for the change back to something closer to the original cartridge?
Three ways: a licencing arrangement (like how Diemaco (now Colt Canada) licenced the M16 to make the C7/C8), significantly changing the internal mechanics so it's no longer the same weapon (the HK416) or the owner contracts with a new company to produce a previous design (like how the US military contracted with FN to produce new M4s instead of Colt USA). Of the three, it's probably HK licenced the design (and name) from FN but changed it a little to designate a different calibre (P90 vs. P90c).
Sorry to necro a post, but I found out a cause why that's happening. Unlike the older "Heckler Koch P90c" file (the 3.6MB one at the top of OLD FILES) the two newest files do NOT have the textures necessary for the gun to look proper, so my solution is to A) download the old file I mentioned earlier or B) download the textures used in the old mod mentioned in point A and put them in the appropriate folders in 'data' accordingly. Saving changes would be recommended if you're using the newer files.
Let's see. The p90 was not invented in Germany by heckler and Koch , it was invented in Belgium Along with the Five seven By fn herstal. It would provide lightweight weapons with body armor piercing ammunition and high capacity
In lore, the game appears in Fallout 2 as the HK P90C. They fixed it in Fallout Tactics, but it's just as likely, given the games take place in an alternate universe, both companies made some form of P90.
The only thing I can see as a way to improve this is changing the scope from a static view (Vanilla Marksman Carbine, Sniper Rifle, Anti Material Rifle) to a dynamic view (Hollow ACOG)
Great mod, already endorsed, however, like others i am having "weapon crazy color changes" problem, i know it takes time, but please, fix when possible, it will be a perfect mod in that case.
Having the same problem as some others. The front sights and scope if attached shimmer all the time, but the rest stay mostly stable, usually only shimmering if an npc is carrying it. I've checked archive invalidation and deactivated all mods to find a conflict and the problem persisted. Otherwise great mod
Hi, I've having problems with the texture can you help me? The gun is all shiny and changing textures 100% of the time. I don't have WRP on. I'm running NMC's Texture Pack and TitanENB. Could the ENB be the problem?
Hey dude, there's just one more thing I would advise taking a look at, just because it feels like a really awkward balancing issue.
You've got a gun w/a 50 round 5mm magazine that does 26 damage and is moddable, and you have it listed for a gun skill of 25. This is an awesome, high powered weapon, I think its requirement should be a little higher, I'd say around 75. Just my two cents.
