I imagine that it would be hard to get it to animate in a way that it would roll like they do in the show, however, I'm sure that it would work well with the animations for the scorpions. I'd love to one rolling around with me and Mr. Conley.
i actually think it might work better with the Sentrybot's animations, i mean they both roll on wheeled legs and they both have two arms. perhaps just move the Gatling gun's firing node too.
i really like how the use of default textures really give it a a more old fashioned and worn feel. it really looks more like plates of metal bolted together rather than the sleek design of the original, which kinda makes this more fitting for the fallout setting.

I think there's a spider animation around here. It could work with this design.
Failing that, robo-scorpion might work.
