TURN ARCHIVE INVALIDATION OFF THEN ON AGAIN. READ THE FAQ IN THE DESCRIPTION AND ALSO READ BUG REPORTING BELOW BEFORE REPORTING ANY PROBLEMS
Bug Reporting
If you are going to report a bug, first make sure you have toggled Archive Invalidation off then on and read the whole description. If your error still occurs post your bug report in a way that means I can actually help e.g. -
The id of the NPC if it's a bug with an NPC (open console and click the NPC and note NPC id at the top.)
If it is a problem with your character let me know the race you are using.
Screenshots are required if it is a visual bug and you want me to help. Please also be as descriptive as possible, if you aren't then again I can't help you and you won't get a response.
PLEASE READ THE ABOVE AND THE DESCRIPTION
If you post about seams (without following the installation instructions), asking me to make a compatibility patch for hair mods, or about white faces and black bodies, or just comments that are covered in the description they will be deleted (I'd rather spend my time working on the mod then answering questions that I have already answered).
Also if you guys have any suggestions for what you would like to see more of or something new from this mod please comment and let me know!
I do not have time to support this mod currently, feel free for anyone to release any bugfix patches for the mod. You can find one created by lunarionsilver here.
Disclaimer: The installation process is bugged, regardless of not selecting a companion mod change option, the mod still installs the Russell companion .esp file and for some reason the bloody .esm file is missing. That .esp file needs to deleted unless you have the required .esp files to make it run or the game will crash. And the uploader's disclaimer hidden in the comment section is appalling. The mod fix he referred apparently worked (i mean all does is add the .esm as far as i'm concerned) I traveled through the abyss to discover that, hope i save someone the time I lost trying to get this awesome mod to work. Can't let the +47k endorsers have all the fun while people like me are stuck in limbo, dying to not dare do another playthrough staring at the same playdoe faces.
Strange...I didnĀ“t encounter that, but whta is weird: if I enable the "sweat" option, the installer puts a file called "FCO-sweat" in my data folder...without any extention, so I had to rename it to "FCO-sweat.esp"..... ??
Okay installed this before I read any of the forums. And of course I got the bald bug. Decided just to deactivate the mod and use different ones, but the changes were permanent. Since I had not started the playthrough I just uninstalled all mods, no joy, then I reinstalled the game completely, no joy, deleted all NV related files and directories in App Data, no joy.
Where in the hell is this hidden data that still exists after a clean game install?
Any thoughts?
EDIT: Well seeing the AMD post I did more digging and found this.
Install dxvk-2.3 from github then install Nvidia d3d9 perf fix from Nexus.
This fixed the hair bug for me, not sure if I am going to attempt to reinstall FCO with this fix, I might as I am a glutton for punishment, if I do I will let you know.
EDIT 2: Well with the above fixes and with FOC Last Edits as well as FOC bugfixes installed along with FOC everything seems to be working fine.
Hello, everything ok? I have the same problem, all the characters are bald. I'm not able to solve this problem, I was curious about the way you fixed it. Can you explain better the method you used?
So just to confirm does this fully fix the hair bug? I also have an AMD card and literally reverted to december driver version to fix the bug lol. I'd love to get back up to date if you can confirm everything is gucci.
All I needed was the DXVK file to fix it. Much simpler than reverting to old drivers. The Nvidia d3d9 perf fix only works for Nvidia drivers as far as I know. Make sure you unzip the .gz file then the .tar file after that. Then Navigate the x32 file, and copy the d3d9.dll file to the same folder as your exectuable.
look for the DXVK .dll replacer by doitsujin on github. download the latest version, and unzip the .gz file, then the .tar file. New Vegas is x32 and uses directx9 so make sure you navigate the file to the correct .dll file (d3d9.dll in this case). copy, paste in same folder as executable, and enjoy. was frustrated with this myself and was confused, but this fix was a lot simpler than most other solutions I found, such as people telling you to downgrade your driver for one game. This mod still worked for me before the fix everyone was just bald. Everyone.
I swear I remember there being a button that would bring the eyebrow selection menu up again outside of CC to help with the bug where they disappear sometimes on your char, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is or if I'm even remembering right. Anyone know what I'm talking about??
I personally wouldn't bother with this mod, NMM tells me that this mods depends on files that are present but doesn't operate as if they are. Game can't launch with this mod enabled.
Yah, sadly this mod is bugged, for the reasons others have listed. Too bad. Maybe someone will take over the mod and fix the "Russel.esp" and another .esm file, and all the other problems.

Really irritating that I have to dig through multiple threads to even figure out that this mod can't be uninstalled properly.
It changes too many things about the models for it to be worth it, not to mention it's extremely outdated.
