Even if you couldn't get it to land just "anywhere" if you could call it in to meet at a specific LZ that would be helpful when you disembark but then are far away from the brid and have to "fast travel" back to it.
imagine watching it coming in to pick you up like in FO3 when it would drop off enclave guys to attack you.. .. I heard in FO3 they got that coming and going effect by actually just dynamically scaling the model up and down. .. which is kinda cheesy but it worked.
I think the author is busy with other things.. maybe one day they'll revamp it.. but it's still pretty cool, Im thinking about getting that train mod I seen on here a while back.. and doing a no fast-travel play thru.

But i think it would be really cool if there was a quest or two before you got it.
Like say gerty needs a part to get it running that you had to go get and maybe defeat a boss.
or what if gertty had some friends that has went missing and you have to go find them.... the quest could be open ended as say maybe you found teh bodies first with a recording or note about teh location of voyager.
another suggestion would be a option that traveling costs resources say every time you move it, it costs you MF or energy cells like fuel.
Is there a way too console command it to my location using something like Placeatme? I would love to park it in the Remnant Bunker vertibird dock as I have Remnant bunker house mod and am playing post-game ending so it's empty.
I love the mod but i would love it even more if i were able to find the virtibird in both wastelands ( in the ttw version) since i usually don't play them both on the same save. This would make the mod a 10/10 and must have for me.
Good suggestion. It annoyed me as well, when I started in DC. Especially since I think, that it is just too complicated to travel to Mojave on gamestart.

Loving the mod! I'm playing TTW and running into an issue. The capital wasteland map doesn't appear as an option in my terminal, so I can only use vertibird in the New Vegas content. I initially had both the TTW and Ultimate DLC optional files installed. I removed the later in case it was causing a conflict, and I'm still not seeing the Capital Wasteland. Any thoughts? I'm using Mod Organizer 2, so I can swap things and load orders on the fly. Think it'd worth completely uninstalling and reinstalling the mod + add-on?
I think something with the variables went wrong by running TTW and DLC version together. I would suggest to disable the mod, save the game without it, and reload it back in. After that, it should work again. But you must unlock the waypoints again as well.
