I use a few mods that add other pistols that use the 9mm pistols fire sound. Will this change them as well? I can't stand the pathetic 9mm sound and would like them to use this one.
well, for one i would need permision, and i would have to either upload his files or create a dependency, but all that you have to do is go into the geck, load nv and the blackwood mod and then look under the weapons tab in the tree, double click on the 9mm pistol, then go into the "art and sound category" of the new pop up window and then you can set the sound to whatever you want. but to see what sounds the blackwood is using just repeat the process, but look for the blackwood pistol in the weapon tree, it usually loads mod added weapons first.
i can never get other mod content to work in my mods ive tried to make a few things for personal use, adding items to houses ect and they just wont work in game for me
I don't have the geck though.;-; plus I don't really want to use it cuz herd you can rly mess up your game.>_< and I have way too many mods to re install new vegas if something dose go wrong.;-;
you CAN mess your game up, but to do so permanently you would have to do it on purpose. any work you do in the geck is saved as an esp or esm file, to my knowledge you cant actually mess up the new vegas master file, but just an fyi
