Just in case you missed it. Endorsements are blocked on this page - they're not on Fee's page linked in the description, however, in case you'd like to show him your appreciation. But, as you can see - Comments are happily open here. Enjoy.
Hey thanks for this mod. I don't suppose you could add back in the tent options lamp, could you? I was looking for a good backpack mod when I found fee's mods. His main one was just way more than I wanted, but his realistic one is perfect for my preferences. Then I stumbled across yours. I like yours because of the double bedroll and more containers. I know this is an ancient mod in an ancient game, so it's probably a big ask. But thanks again if you read this. This is a great mod. And maybe I'm an idiot, if the tent options can still be activated somehow (buddy pass, backpack, edit weight, etc.). If someone knows how to do this, I'd be very grateful. I could just be missing it.
SHORT ANSWER: Form Id for the backpack is XX000B03 and still works if spawned in with console.
LONG ANSWER: You can Add the backpack version through console commands, and it works fine. I opened the mod in Xedit and surprisingly all the scripts and even the backpack item are still in the files. If you use the backpack you still get Gary's version of the tent interior, and when packing it up it stays as the backpack version. You may need to have purchased the normal tent and have it in your inventory already when you spawn the backpack version with a console command.
the Form ID for the backpack is is XX000B03 (replace XX with the load order position of the realistic tent esp in your game, this is the one that can have letters like a, b, c ,d etc in addition to numbers, it should be next to the esp in your mod managing program)
So to spawn the backpack version you would want to type "player.additem XX000B03 1" in the console to add one to your inventory. (make sure there is a space between the Form ID and the 1 at the end. The 1 at the end simply tells the game to spawn 1 of the item you are telling it)
Hey hum, I posted my problem about the weight problem. I've been told to use FNVEdit to change the weight. I did, savit it and when into the game, the weight was still the same. When using FNVEdit does the mod have to be installed or do I have to change something in the mod files?
It's said 'anything is possible' .. except for me making changes to a mod I did over three years ago. I wouldn't know where to start at this point with nothing loaded up for this game. Perhaps someone else might help you with that.
Don't know if your skilled enough modder to do this, but would love to see a Khan Tent version. (Been looking for a Portable Khan Tent, but atlas none exist.)
Unfortunately fee's tent, which is very nice, was not compatible with Nevada Skies (which I recently installed). After a test run it appears this one is! I noticed some of your player home mods are compatible with weather and you went through a lot of hard work to accomplish this. Good job!
Very glad to hear you'll be able to make use of this one. I wasn't aware of the Nevada Skies compatibility problems with Fee's. And thank you, Londrandir. Most folks nowadays just grab and run so it's a pleasure when someone takes the time to comment.
