    Update:
    - I have added the final version of my Goodsprings mod. Any future versions will be for bug fixes only.

    Changelog 1.5:
    - Adjusted a few minor object and landscape items.
    - Made more items pickable.
    - Old Bart wakes up to join the slackers outside the Prospector Saloon.
    - General clean-up.

    Changelog 2.0:
    - Texture cleaning and fixing.
    - Minor Landscape Adjustment.
    - Additional touches.

    Changelog 3.0:
    - 3 new interiors for 3 vanilla structures unused by any recommended mods. Complete with inhabitants.
    - New NPCs (small in number) to add life to the town. Including children and more women for Goodsprings.
    - Minor landscape improvements.
    - AI improvements to town NPCs.
    - Improved Trudy's home. Now Trudy, Sunny and Kasey (formerly the unnamed Settler you save at the well) each have their own bed.
    - Subtle clean-up of vanilla homes to show more care for there use and less filthy.
    - Old Bart no longer essential but has more health. (To help with those choosing to aid the Powder Gangers)
    - More places for NPCs to perform animations for work, idle and other activities ... making life a bit more fluid and less bland.

    Changelog 3.5:
    - Bighorner Pen upgrade. Felt as the primary means of business for Goodsprings, it needed to appear a bit more so. These changes are subtle, remaining immersive.
    - Minor enhancements to the general area, as well as some FNVedit work for mod cleaning.
    - Improvements to the children NPCs added by the mod to better utilize their sandbox schedules.

    Changelog 3.6:
    - Minor tweaks and fixes.

    Changelog 3.7:
    - Fixed crash bug caused by FNVEdit Cleaning. DO NOT CLEAN the ESP, the UDRs are necessary. LOOT reads the ESP as clean so, just leave it as is.

Changelog 3.8: PLACED IN OPTIONAL. RISK OF CTDS. WILL INVESTIGATE SOON. SUGGEST USING 3.7.
    - Spruced up Mod. Cleaned. Removed Deleted References. Replaced with Disabled.

I ran into deleted references in xEdit in this mod.For future note, deleted references can lead to game crashes because some other mod might call for that specific object and, because the reference isn't there, the game will crash, according to what I've read. Until the mod author uploads a fixed file, whoever downloads this mod will need to open up xEdit, and undelete and disable references in this mod.

A bit late but all I did was do quick auto clean with fnv edit. It did clear and undelete a lot of references. I did some light testing and no crashes so far. But howdo you clean your mods?

This adds a skill book for the Big Guns skill, which is remaining in the game files from Fallout 3 since NV doesn't have the Big Guns skill anymore, to one of the resident's houses.

I like the mod, it just feels strange that named NPCs don't seem to have quests associated with them. Yeah, there were a few named characters in vanilla New Vegas who didn't have quests associated with them, such as Mean Sonofabitch, but he did have unique dialogue.

Anyone using this (3.7 version) with Vault-HQ1? The author says it's compatible but for me, the house on the hill floats above the terrain. It's still accessible at least.

This mod works fine for me, no crashes. The only issue I'm having is that the children are unable to go outside after a while of playing the game. If I go in their house I'll see them inside but, when they go outside, they disappear. I don't know exactly when this started happening but it doesn't happen in a fresh save and I also checked FNVEdit and there are no conflicts with my other mods. I also have checked the geck and, so far, I don't see what the issue is. It's like they're teleporting into a different and inaccessible area of the game or something. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Installing any of your mods from the Reborne series causes the game to crash to the desktop. The game does not even have time to show the main menu.

      Yeah, happened with me too.

EDIT: Novac Reborn is actually safe. The older versions of Goodsprings Reborn "3.7" and Prim Reborn "2.8" are safe for use as well. It's just the updates of Goodsprings and Primm that are causing the game to CTD.

You are correct. I use the entire reborn series myself but yes there are problems with the final versions of Goodsprings and Primm. So I use the same versions you specified. Novac is fine as you said. I wish I was good enough with NVedit to see whats wrong with the updates but I'm not. Someone needs to though as the original author seems to have abandoned this.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to give this a try. I know NV is an old game and a lot of mods are no longer supported but the Reborn series seemed fun and I was disappointed to read all the comments about crashing. Here's hoping it goes smoothly! *fingers crossed* Will edit with results.

You should be fine. Vegas is old but One of The Best Games ever made..IMHO. The last update for the game itself eliminated most of the games really big problems. Plus there are a boatload of fixes that you can find here on NEXUS. Just don't buy into trouble you haven't got. If you have a reasonably decent PC and aren't plagued with Malware and do your Homework you should have a good experience. As far as support goes I have a ton of unsupported MOD's that work just fine. Just be careful and back stuff up as well as set restore points just to be safe. If you have a problem with Goodsprings Reborn let me know I'll see if I can help. If Not I'll point you to someone who knows more then me.

So that you are aware, NVAC logging indicates a 'syntax error' at the time of the Goodsprings crash to desktop.  It is definitely this mod - I tested it in several combinations.

Can you pass me the log of what nvac says about the syntax error? I'm going to look into this mod and see if these errors can be fixed.

Hi! Why keep the upgraded buggy archives versions if there is no intention to fix them, I'm saying this because a notice there is confusion among some of users complaining about crashes. People, forget the newer versions and install the older one, they work.

NPC's don't walk around the newly added assets from the mods like these, they just get stuck. quite a shame really. i was looking forward to using this.

Have not installed yet but looking forward to trying it (and other "Reborn"  mods) because one thing that bugs me about F3/NV/4 is the sorry state of the places people call home 200 years after the bombs fell. As one NPC  puts it in one particular F4 mod (the name of which I forget) "Where I come from, we sweep the floors more than once every 200 years."

Having fun with this mod. Just wondering if I could access the abandoned house next to Doc Mitchell's place.
