I installed and enabled firefly friends. They are non-aggressive, but they do not glow at night. Do I need to activate another .esp in conjunction with fireflyfriends.esp?
Really good idea! Although now i want to see the glowing radroaches now... Still awesome effect, and i suppose i can see firefly companions for ghoul characters. They can just fly around the character and irradiate/heal them, till they get shot down.
@Svengo42, OK download Firefly friends.rar they are non aggressive. I suppose if you or someone wanted I could make them actually friendly. Maybe fly around the player the now and then or one as a companion.
I dont know if it is possible, but in the More Perks mod there is a perk which gives you radroaches which fight with you (and disappear when they are done fighting). I wonder if someone could help make something like that possible with this mod (I honestly have no clue how). I just installed the firefly friends now (thank you sooo much) and am going to check them out now.

Fireflies.esp are irradiated bloatflies that glow all the time, much like the irradiated radroaches (cut content).
FirefliesNight.esp are bloatflies that have evolved/mutated the ability to luminescence, much like pre-war fireflies. They only glow at night or inside building interiors. They are not radioactive.
firefliesRad.esp are Radflies ie irradiated bloatflies that glow all the time & give off rads
fireflyfriends.esp are non aggressive fireflies
I'v added a shader color, so there are a greenish and yellowish mixed into the encounter list.
You wouldn't want to use both esp's, just one or the other.
