    Note to all
    Please read through the description page here and the read me inside the mod. There are many details that need to be handled correctly- it requires reading. If you find you have an issue please review the comments and answers in this section- it is your best opportunity to quickly fix your problem should you have one. Many solutions lie here. I will of course help when asked but writing the same things again and again is not making me happy. We as mod users must be more resourceful when the need arises.
    This comment is not meant to put people off- but merely to direct you to a means of helping yourself. I will promptly help you when asked...just read first please

    And above all else..do not be discouraged. This is all part of learning.

    NIGHT VISION. Night Vision mods use Image Space Modifiers to alter the environment lighting- this sort of thing will need to be set so it will not conflict with the ENB. MrDeathKill has mentioned a fix in a posting further down but this needs to be sticky for all to see. Thx MDK.
    "link nightvision to shift-f12, then the enb gets switched off when the nightvision switches on and vice versa."

    It has occurred to me that people might like to know how to set up grass within your FalloutPrefs.ini. So I am going to share what little I know which I have merged with very good stuff from Macintroll- these are some lines of interest.

    [Grass]
    iMinGrassSize=15 // quantity of grass, lower is more

    bGrassPointLighting=1 // more accurate lighting on grass
    bDrawShaderGrass=1 // must keep it !
    iGrassDensityEvalSize=2 //size of grasses
    iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=4 // number of different grasses per tile
    fWaveOffsetRange=7.7500 // repartition-variations of grass size per tile
    fGrassWindMagnitudeMax=20.0000 // wind deformation max
    fGrassWindMagnitudeMin=5.0000 // wind deformation min
    fTexturePctThreshold=0.0000 // or 0.3000 no apparent effect
    fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0 // start fading grass
    fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=10000.0 // max grass visible distance
    fGrassDefaultStartFadeDistance=9000.0
    fGrassFadeRange=1000.0 // fading range
    b30GrassVS=1

    upping the iMinGrassSize will lessen the fps burden

    REMEMBER TO- cut off all antialiasing- anistropic filtering - in game shadows- DOF and untick the water displacement that can be located within the water section of you game loader settings pane<--<-- The reason is the first four things are all done already by the ENB and the last item there is a bug issue(displacement). If these items are not correctly switched off it will degenerate the on-screen image.
    Be sure to leave HDR on - it is required for ALL ENBs to function properly.

    If you can't get this enb running but have followed all the steps the problem is you missed a step which is you need to install an older version of the ENBSeries v0.216 for this mod to work. I missed this step and the game loaded the newest version of enb with no changes. Hope this helps

    This ENB looks breathtaking with the 'Western Skies' preset for Nevada Skies. This is definitely one of my favorite ENBs.

    Since installing this ENB I crash on entry to vats. I have tried to do everything you have suggested and have attempted other fixes found online.

    Believe it or not, after playing around with ENBs just for shits and giggles, I found out that this ENB is compatible with Oblivion. It looks rather nice in the rolling green hills of Cyrodiil.

    Hello Lonewanderer (and AMD users might want to look here,) I recently got back into playing F:NV and your ENB is my cherry on top of all the modifications; However like other AMD users I hit a snag in that I crashed every time I hit new game or continue and I felt... Well hesitant to play NV, but then I realized the fix is rather simple, simple enough that it's worth mentioning so here we go.

    First off, download lonewanderers enb settings (the most obvious,) then don't bother AT ALL with ENB .216 and instead skip right to .237; unpack the d3d9.dll, enbhost.exe and the enblocal.ini into your F:NV folder, now comes the fun part! For this part you will need to open the enbseries.ini file(I also recommend having the enblocal.ini open) remove the Proxy(copy first, then overwrite in enblocal.ini,) Fix, Game, multihead, limiter, input(again copy and then overwrite in enblocal.ini,) window, engine and memory lines, save the enbseries.ini and you're done with the that file. If you didn't have your enblocal.ini open during that, that;'s fine because below you'll see what it should look like.

    Your enblocal.ini should look like this:

    [PROXY]
    EnableProxyLibrary=true
    InitProxyFunctions=true
    ProxyLibrary=sweetFX_d3d9.dll

    [PERFORMANCE]
    SpeedHack=true

    [MULTIHEAD]
    ForceVideoAdapterIndex=false
    VideoAdapterIndex=0

    [MEMORY]
    ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
    ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=false
    DisableDriverMemoryManager=true
    DisablePreloadToVRAM=false
    EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false
    ReservedMemorySizeMb=512
    VideoMemorySizeMb=0
    EnableCompression=true

    [WINDOW]
    ForceBorderless=false
    ForceBorderlessFullscreen=false

    [ENGINE]
    ForceAnisotropicFiltering=true
    MaxAnisotropy=16
    AddDisplaySuperSamplingResolutions=false

    [LIMITER]
    WaitBusyRenderer=false
    EnableFPSLimit=false
    FPSLimit=60.0

    [INPUT]
    //back
    KeyReadConfig=8
    //shift
    KeyCombination=16
    //f12
    KeyUseEffect=123
    //home
    KeyFPSLimit=36
    //num / 106
    KeyShowFPS=106
    //insert
    KeyScreenshot=45
    KeyEditor=13
    KeyFreeVRAM=115

    [ANTIALIASING]
    EnableEdgeAA=true

    [FIX]
    FixGameBugs=true
    FixTransparencyBugs=false

    If it does then you are on your way to AWESOME! Now we need to change the MEMORY lines and this will vary based on your system and I will be using my 280x as a guideline.

    [MEMORY]
    ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true
    ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true
    DisableDriverMemoryManager=true
    DisablePreloadToVRAM=false
    EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=true
    ReservedMemorySizeMb=512
    VideoMemorySizeMb=3072
    EnableCompression=false

    And there is a wonderful explanation of each line by Marcurios here: http://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2579#p42016

    It would probably be easier for people if I uploaded my enbseries.ini and enblocal.ini but who would I be if i didn't make it a little inconvenient, plus I didn't ask for permission. xD

      This should be bumped and stickied. I was trying to install this on my desktop, after using it in limited fashion on my laptop, and it was crashing for me on load. I had to update to .249 as .237 is not available anymore, but after doing that and using these steps it's working for me. All without having to bother the original author, lol. Anyway, thanks.

      Glad it worked for ya bud!

      To be honest with you though, I probably could have worded and explained it better.

      Ok so i did everything you said and i cant believe it but it actually worked perfectly

      so i stop playing after 15 minutes to get a small mod, and now it wont start. the mod i got was just a esp, and when i dont use it, it still does not work

      I dont know what could have happened, but now the game just crashes on startup, the screen pops up, and then it crashes

      I am seriously at a loss for words, i though i FINALLY got it all figured out, but now im back to square one

    Is it very resource-intensive? What kind of frame rate drop should I expect?
