      thats not true. i played NV on my laptop(first gen Intel HD Graphics onboard). tested with high settings and it worked fine. yes, there are stutter here and there but still getting a playable FPS(20-25). if you installed mods that helps performance such as Better Performance or any other mods that removes useless clutters or items, and a bit tweak with NV Configator, youll gain more numbers. arround 3-4 more FPS.
      Intel HD Graphics is suck and was not intended for gaming purposes, thats true. and it wont be able to render as good as any NVIDIA or ATI families. but that doesnt mean its a total junk. and also due to the fact that FO3 and FONV is not demanding like Skyrim in terms of hardware. it is why i have the guts to registered FONV installation on my laptop. but Skyrim and FO3 on my PC since both have all the complete DLCs(Skyrim Legendary and FO3 GOTY Editions), thus i dont thing my laptop could "handle the torture".

      @Nobitanio:

      I bet the screen on yer laptop isn't 1080p and that the 'not demanding' FNV game is set at low or mid graphics rendering. That's not the way to play games. If you're fine with that, sure, but you'd better save for a decent desktop with a beefy GPU.

    Thank you, sir, for this wonderful mod its sorta old and not enough people seem to know about this one. I would like to endorse this mod as the only mod I will ever endorse in the video game industry i had set up script extender and 4GB patch Performance of the gods the shutter fix and YUP along with ENB with lite preset. I opened my first game. proceeded to exit the doctor house BOOM lag city....which I knew is bull crap...so when I installed this mod and followed your directions and opened the launcher and it rechose a preset with the new video card it now thinks I have. I went ahead and changed the preset to ultra and turned off anti lacing and filtering because the ENB does it for me. I reopened my game and was so happy with what happened next so I Open the autosave and BOOM it was like perfect video again. I want to make a small video about this exactly and so just thank you thank you thank you

    I have an Nvidia GTX 560 Ti and I was getting the problem where the game would get progressively more and more choppy as time went on. I tried the Nvidia d3d9 perf fix by wing pao shiggz (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34778/?) with no luck. After spending an entire day going over every possible solution to the problem, I tried this. I dropped it in my New Vegas folder and the problem just vanished.

    For whatever reason, this file solved the problem for me when other DirectX dlls did not. No idea why, but thanks.

    To anyone else having the same problem: it's worth it to try all the different d3d9.dll files out there if you're really stuck resolving lag or choppiness issues. They may have the same filename, but they are not all the same.

      AMD company owns ATI company, so yeah, take the ATI version as amd video cards are ATI.
      Nvidia is a different company alltogether, direct competitor of AMD/ATI.
