I honestly can't tell if its working for every armor or if it's not working at all.

2 problems here: won't work without adding the perk and then it work regardless the armor used (the armor condition was removed in this fix).

The real fix is that you just need to add the relative perk, no mod required, just vanilla.

Open console, type "player.addperk xx00E845" (where xx is the load order of OldWorldBlues).
It's the perk of the armor, I think the game should add to the player but won't.

You need to enter the command 4 times (because it's 4 Rank) and it'll work, without any other fixes.

Technically doing it in vanilla will cause the perk to function without completing the quest. To have a complete fix you'll need to add the condition of the last quest completed (the only one condition present in this mod).

BTW I used this mod and modify it to have 1,5x movement speed regardless sneaking or not (the armor condition remain, if I remove the stealth armor the speed go back to normal).

    Finally I can really run.

If you're using YUP, you don't need this as it is implemented there. Don't use both as they work slightly differently and might cause odd behaviour.

On the subject of just giving your character the perk; that won't actually fix the original problem as the modifier is added to your character via script not the perk.

It doesn't work for me. When i'm wearing the stealth suit mk II i sneak at normal speed, but i get the 20% plus when i'm wearing a different armor or when i'm not wearing any armor. Is there a way to fix this?

Does anyone know if there's a Fixer mod for the suit? I always found it annoying that my favorite armor can get me addicted to Med-X. I also found it equally annoying that Bethesda never made the decision to counteract this annoying condition by giving the suit the ability to also dispense Fixer whenever you get addicted to Med-X.

Hi i saw that this fix has already been added to YUP.
But i am also using LEGACY of X13 mod, and saw the whole conversation between you mod author, Daftcnut and ghostnull, you both mentioned that LEGACY tried to fix the issue but failed to do so and i'm completely bummed out by it.
    .
i saw that you also uploaded an optional file speedfix for LEGACY but i cannot find it anywhere on the file section, how can i get it?
    .
EDIT: i've decided to remove LEGACY, its not worth it.. i saw that YUP already fixed various bugs related to medx and stimpaks, this fix has also been added.. so in deciding whether i still need the LEGACY mod.. it all came down to LOOKS vs FUNCTIONALITY(+20% sneakspeed)
however i wish i could still have the textures of LEGACY T_T

This didn't work for me for some reason. Specifically it was the perk that didn't work because once I removed the condition GetQuestCompleted with NVDLC03X13Setup "Project X-13" [QUST:01006D8D] then it worked.

Console command "GetQuestCompleted 03006d8d" correctly returned 1, but the same condition in the script somehow failed.

So instead I changed the GetQuestCompleted condition to check GetObjectiveCompleted with 100 (the quest completed value). This worked.

This is a great fix, but is there any way to disable it? Using this with this increased sneak speed bonus from the Lonesome Road perk makes you sneak comically fast, and its the same speed as running. Disabling the mod didn't revert the suit back to normal.

If this is still a problem for you, bear in mind that this fix is also a part of Yukichigai Unofficial Patch.

Sadly, this doesn't seem to work for me. It might be because I'm using the Legacy of X-13 mod, but I even tried replicating what changes I could find in this fix within the files of that mod to no effect. I'm a novice, though, so I certainly could have missed something.

I suppose my question is this: what changes were made in your patch, specifically? Maybe if I knew that I could get this to work with Legacy of X-13.

Legacy of X-13 includes it's own fix for the speed issue. You don't need this fix while using that mod, using both together will cause a conflict.

EDIT: No, my foot didn't taste good.

Well, I only installed this one because *that* one apparently wasn't working. I didn't know it included its own fix, but it's non-functional nonetheless.

Well it's been quite a while since I've used Legacy of X-13 but I remember reading in the comments that a fix was included. However after loading Legacy in the GECK and checking the fix myself I discovered it wasn't implemented properly.

While using this mod with Legacy (and making sure it loaded after Legacy) should technically work, Legacy made some specific changes to the script that wouldn't carry over to this mod and may cause some issues.

I'll PM you a file soon that will have a proper fix for the speed issue implemented.

I'm afraid I don't have any experience with The Legacy of X13 so I can't really help, but I know it makes significant changes to the stealth suit scripts. You therefore shouldn't use this fix with The Legacy of X13. Also because of the changes made in The Legacy of X13 it's unlikely that implementing the fix in the same way would work (the way that I "fixed" the problem is crude).

Well your fix isn't crude as it works just fine. The sneak speed boost just wasn't implemented correctly by the devs. First the player is never given the perk, it's commented out in the script. Secondly if the player had been given the perk then they would have been given the sneak speed boost right away after equipping the Stealth Suit, the variables in the perk weren't set-up properly. Your mod corrects those issues.

While Legacy changed some variables in the perk (perhaps in an attempt to fix the issue) the player is still never given the perk to increase sneak speed. Simple fact is the player must be given the perk for anything to happen.

Daftcnut, perhaps you should consider making a patch for Legacy to fix the sneak speed issue and uploading it as an optional file to your fix.

I've uploaded a test fix for Legacy that should work in the same way the main file does.

I tried the beta fix. It makes me sneak faster while I have no armor equipped rather than when I am wearing the stealth suit. Any ideas on what needs changed to make it work correctly?

I know this was over a year ago, but I just downloaded this and it seems that issue was (s)he forgot to add the condition to the mod that the suit needs to be worn for the perk to work. Hence you will move faster sneaking all the time once the quest is completed. You would have to add the condition for each version of the craftable X-13 upgrades.

I have a problem. The mod works but every time I unequip the Stealh Suit my character starts to run at a really fast speed, so fast I can get from east to west of Big MT. in less than a minute. I wanted to know if there's a fix for this because I don't plan to use the Stealth Suit forever and every time I don't use it, that happens.
