He has all these awesome guns in his house, yet he's being all amiable and shit. f*** that old man. I don't buy his nice guy vibe. There's something fishy about him. Might be a former Enclave for all I know.
Either way, cool gun Milenia. A bit drab compared to the AK47 and the Trenchgun, but its a matter of personal taste. Very fun to use, especially if you approach the combat tactically (the AK and Trenchgun is more for slaughtering everything on site, ex; 'Remember, no NCRs'). You can use the gun for slaughter as well, but it doesn't have that AK, terrorist feel. Though again, its a matter of personal taste.
Could you try to add a sight for this gun that isn't a scope? I don't want a whole new custom model or anything, just like an Eotech or Aimpoint sight or something like that. I would do it myself except that i don't know how. Even without that this is still by far my favorite gun mod for new vegas. Good job! Thanks!
EoTech and Aimpoint are American sights. This is a Russian weapon, so the corresponding sights would be Kobra or PK-AS I believe. Honestly, to me, all the Russian sights look better than the American sights anyway, but I would love to see the PK-AS on the AN-94. Here's a link to show you what it looks like: http://russianoptics.net/pk-as.html you can also see all of the available Russian sights by navigating through the tabs. Some pretty neat sights they have
if this weapon used Heffy's ak reload, the damage was upped to 30, and you tilt the magazine slightly to the right this would be the definitive an-94 for me. but there are only two an-94s on the nexus and this is the best one. not perfect, but pretty good. somebody get on that mod would ya.
To simulate the 2 round burst, couldn't you have the gun set as a shotgun, but with only 2 projectiles and a very tight spread? I guess you'd have to come up with a way for it to use up 2 bullets per burst, but it'd make for a very unique weapon.
You can actually do this yourself by using FNVEdit. Do to this expand "Weapons.Of.The.New.Millenia.esm" option, expand "Weapon," and select the weapon XX002b7a (XX represents the load order the .esm file is in). The will be a ton of configurables in the right window. The following configurables allow you to change your AN-94 exactly the way you want it. Set the "Projectile Count" and "Ammo Use" to 2. If you want your AN-94 to be more accurate, you can decrease the "Min Spread" of the weapon. Remember to back-up your plugins by checking the "back-up plugins" before closing FNVEdit to prevent accidents from being troublesome. If you are not familiar with FNVEdit, I encourage you to look up a video or 2 that will help you understand how it works much better than I could explain it using only text. FNVEdit is the best way to manually change most weapon and armor variables. Additionally, FNVEdit boasts the ability to make merged patches that increase compatibility and stability in game. Hope this helps and happy modding
