Yeah, sorry to basically necro this little discussion, but I tried and I just can't. I have audio problems with fraps. I'm not above begging others to do it, though.
OM MY GOOT GAWD! Just got up and running, and got into my first fight with EDE nearby, and shivers literally ran up and down my spine, and I got PUMPED, tore apart the Cazadores as if they were nothing, I loved the fight so much with that music! It is the most recognizable, and inspiring, fight music IMHO, I just wish it would blast louder! Any way you know of to increase volume? Seriosuly people if you even REMOTELY like FF7 please download this!
Haha. Thank you. This kind of comment is pretty much why people mod. Well, that and the media attention, although the paparazzi get a bit old. As for trying to boost the volume, well, I kinda matched (by ear) ED-E's vanilla volume with the new sounds I edited. It is similar; I kinda went to some lengths to ensure that. That said, I could quickly boost the volume stats in the .ESP and reupload.
EDIT: OK, 0.91 has a version of the .esp (in the OPTIONAL folder) with boosted volume. Just use that .esp instead of the default one; ED-E's FF7 combat music will be quite a bit louder than with the basic version of the mod.
YOU SIR, just earned Kudos... And because of you I am looking for multiple animal companion mods, cause I am a Roxy addict, Love dogs like Cheyenne and Sam, and other animal companions, ED-E was actually my least favorite companion...until now! Now I won't play any other companion unless I can have ED-E too (And yes...you just single handedly made my least favorite companion alt, my all time favorite...and with limited Mod space you actually got me to rearrange, and even remove, mods I have been using for years as I require game stability. You do your job well )
Ha ha HA! My secret objective, to make everyone love ED-E, the best follower, is progressing nicely... (Seriously, I loved ED-E from day 1, in fact, from the day I saw the trailer. He was ever your least favorite?! I'm glad I could fix that! )
