So... Project Nevada - Extra Options has finally got an update
I don't have New Vegas installed at the moment but I'm guessing my fix is no longer required with the new 1.3 version
Edit: Confirmed by RoyBatterian the current maintainer of Extra Options, so you can all remove my fix and go and update to 1.3, don't forget to rebuild your Bashed Patch if you have one!
The extra options may have been updated, but I still had an issue with the MCM. I tried editing the rebalance section, and it would wither change the wrong item, or not change anything at all. This MCM fix still did the trick. This mod may be outdated and I probably just did something wrong, but if you're like me and experiencing issues, this fix does still work.
So for whatever reason, this mod doesn't like me. It always tells me I have missing masters, but I have all four required masters in my load order and activated.
Edit: Okay, I see that I'm missing two other master files. Ignore this.
Before trying this mod, use LOOT to check for any errors and then FNVedit for cleaning. RebalanceComplete.esp had quite a few ITM errors. I encountered the missing MCM entry issue before, but adding some FNVedit soap fixed it for me. Just spreading the word so people get into the habit of using LOOT and FNVedit since it's recommended common practice anyway~
If you don't care and Nick's fix works for you, that's fine too~
I'm not saying you're wrong, but the error I've fixed is in the script, so I don't see how removing the ITMs could have fixed it :\
Remember the bug is kinda random, sometimes the Rebalance entry appears sometimes it doesn't, it's possible LOOT changed your load order and caused the MCM entry to appear...
EDIT: Soooo.... I just loaded up FNVEdit to check and you were right Project Nevada - Rebalance Complete.esp needs cleaning.
However, the 22 ITMs cleaned were just leveled lists (most if not all for ammunition), they wouldn't have caused the bug we're talking about, so I guess now I am saying you're wrong... sorry
i managed to fix the error by instaling mcm, uhud and then ohud. The question is: as a new user of project nevada will i miss some feature or anything? or should i use this fix insted of those three mods i used
If you've got space in your load order or you're using a bashed patch, there's no reason not to use my fix really, it shouldn't conflict with anything you mentioned, so you can use it as well as those rather than instead of. The bug it fixes is kind of random from what I remember, sometimes you'll see the rebalance MCM and sometimes you won't. But with my fix it will be there all the time.
thanks for the quick reply, last question(nothing to do with the fix and this mod) i haven't finished NV, what should i start first project brazil or NV
Has anyone installed this mod successfully by manually adding the zip file to NMM? If so I guess I could enable the ' Download with Manager ' button...
i have but every time i start up my save 30 seconds later i cant go to the menu or open up anything or talk to anyone without my game crashing! please help!
Did you install any other mods at the same time? I can't see how my mod would cause this as it's a really small and simple fix to a much larger and complex mod.

Still can't see the sub menu.
If not you can post your load order either here in spoiler tags or on a site like pastebin and post a link to it here, and I'll have a look.
Thanks
If so I guess I could enable the ' Download with Manager ' button...
Have you tried NVAC - New Vegas Anti Crash?
