After leaving the aresenal thr first time and leaving bradley behind,i goto pick up the holotape off the fiend hacker and it instantly crashes my game as soon as i pick it up. Anyone else know how to pass this point?
So when I first tried installing this, the fiends were invincible and frozen in place, so I couldn't progress the quest beyond the first battle. Tried installing it again, crashed on start. Realized I didn't have the master file, installed the master file, loaded it, quest started as normal, but then while i was assaulting the NCRCF (hadn't started the actual mod quest yet), the entire mojave became infested with ominous, gently-swaying clusters of void triangles that followed me across saves. Looked like maybe some kind of in-game plant but with the texture gone. I guess it's not game-breaking, but I don't think I could maintain my sanity surrounded by the abyss. Also if that happened, once I started the quest game-breaking things would also likely start happening. Both times I installed it in the middle of my playthrough, though the most recent time I'm fairly early on.
So i figured out i could kill the fiends with console commands, and so far i haven't had any more issues, but i live in fear of the return of the void triangles.
I ran into a snag early on in the quest line. I gave Bradley the package, but he won't move from his spot (he left his post on the guard tower to chase down some fiends) and I can't talk to him. Is there a console command I can use to force the quest to the next stage?
I'm stuck in the New Vegas Arsenal part of the quest. The bunker is just full of dead ends & "inaccessible" doors that won't even open with console commands (even though the quest marker leads me directly to one of the inaccessible doors). I've explored every nook & cranny of that bunker from top-to-bottom, yet I have no idea how to progress further.
I know Someguy has since deleted his Nexus account, but I'm hoping other users have at least found a way to resolve this & progress further.
I've been loving all of his mods so far, & I'm lowkey devastated he deleted his account.
EDIT: Quest automatically progressed literally after I posted this & wandered around some more. Disregard.
I come back to Someguy's mods every so often, and for good reason. NVB3's presumably burnout-fueled railroad aside...they're quite well-written (yes I will mention this at every turn, I'm a hater what can I say).
That bit with the Enclave officers stuck in a bunker together is one of those pieces that sits with you for a good long while. It's exceptionally done. I'd say to the tier of Randall Clark's logs from Honest Hearts.
I also love Zimmer. He's the perfectly overly-serious dramatic antagonist to bring it together at the end.
EDIT: I fixed the problem! Turns out I just needed to do a fresh playthrough, installing it mid-run seemed to break it for some reason. Good thing I'm doing a new run.
Alright. I don't know if anyone else is having this problem as this is fairly unique given I never had any trouble with The Inheritance in the past, but when starting the quest and going to talk to Joe Sellers, instead of his usual dialogue, he opens up with a standard NPC greeting (ex: "What do you need?") and his only dialogue option is a Barter Check of 75 and to leave the dialogue options.
This is insanely confusing since I don't think I have anything that could conflict with the mod. Still, even if I decide to ignore this and take the barter check to advance the quest, Bradley seems to get stuck in trying to read the letter.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling through numerous ways and it just. Will not change. This is infuriating given it breaks all the dialogue trees and won't even advance if you decide to ignore what makes this quest mod an AMAZING quest mod now broken down by something I can't seem to figure out. A shame since I adore Someguy's work and want to play through all of these mods till the conclusion.
No. deleted navmeshes is a sign of something having gone wrong. navmeshes afaik direct npcs where to go in a cell. no navmesh, no npcs walking/running around. not to mention that mods w/ deleted navmeshes cause the game to crash more

to find the first 2 letters enter the console and click on bradley
(Just found out you can also just relog each time he stops)
