It just removes all misc/crap weight, allows you to use your companion's (vanilla) armor, such as Cass's outfit. It also reduces food/aid/med weight to something that seems reasonable. The same thing with armor, reduces weight and changes DT to something reasonable-ish. This also makes faction armors (NCR, Legion) to become light. Power Armor is lighter.
And yes, NCR Ranger Combat armor is easier to move around with, it is now light. and I think I changed DT by 1 point.
It's a mod I made for myself so don't expect something too magical.
