This mod is now updated so the relevant (to each buddies equipment) DLC perks and vanilla perks are compatible.

Plus the Wanderer Buddy now comes with a NEW PERK called Vault Dweller, a perk to fit in against Grunt and Cowboy (details under Couriers Wanderer)
to utilize weapons that aren't covered specifically by a perk.

##### Most perks are already compatible, this update adds a couple that weren't #####

If you already have the Couriers Buddies version 1.0 then you can download the updated buddy (version 1.1) and overwrite (click yes to all)
when prompted whilst activating it in FOMM with no need to start a new game. You can continue on from your last save.

If you don't and this is your first buddies download then you will need to start a new game for the items and buddy to be in game.
This mod is designed to fit in at the start of the game - as the weapons and armor are made to fit in
smoothly and be consistant with the game world at the start.

Its a way of introducing a weapon and an armor near the start with an explaination of how you come about
them without being given heaps of gear, while still not making things easy on you.

This mod would make a good substitute if you haven't got any pre order packs.

This gives you the Courier his/her proper clothing to start the game (as seen in the "movie intro"
at the cemetery) in a patient trunk in Doc Mitchell's house.

The Courier also has a friend that was trying to contact him/her before the ambush. Each has
new Armor/clothing and a new weapon with slightly better stats than a vanilla item.

There are 4 buddies to choose from - use one at a time.

1. A Caravaneer
2. A Wanderer
3. A Mercenary
4. A Fiend

UPDATED Version 1.1 Details/Requirements

1. Couriers CaravaneerDM(Requires Dead Money)

Shotgun now compatible with perks Shotgun Surgeon, And Stay Back(DM)
Outfits now compatible with perks Travel Light(changed to 15% faster movement) and Light Touch(DM)

2. Couriers WandererDM(Requires Dead Money)

NEW PERK - Vault Dweller - SCI +15, MED +10, 25% more DAM with 10mm pistols/SMG's, laser pistols, rippers, switchblades, poolcues, spiked knuckles, lead pipes, police batons.
Requirements to obtain Vault Dweller Perk, LVL 6, INT 6 SCI 35
Pistol now compatible with perks Vault Dweller, The Professional
Outfits now compatible with perks Travel Light(changed to 15% faster movement) and Light Touch(DM).

3. Couriers MercenaryHH(Requires Honest Hearts) - LOAD AFTER FOOK (IF INSTALLED)

Grenade Rifle now compatible with perk Grunt(HH) - Grunt changed to 20% more DAM (so its more balanced against Cowboy and Vault Dweller) and EXP 45 needed
Courier Outfit now compatible with perk Travel Light(changed to 15% faster movement).

4. Couriers FiendDM(Requires Dead Money)

Outfits now compatible with perks Travel Light(changed to 15% faster movement) and Light Touch(DM).

These buddies are not followers.

Once you pick up your gear out of the trunk, a message will start you off.

Each buddy is found at an area near Goodsprings or Primm.

Their weapons also work with the Challenge Perks.

Their Weapons can't be modded (they have improved stats) so they won't interfere with any mods(FOOK, FNV, WME, WMX etc) that effect that area
and it also allows options to use other weapons with mods etc later on (that are already in game).
Remember its for an early game character.

####### Compatabilities ########

I am using FOOK wth WME and PN Rebalance and all the FOOK weapons still work with perks mentioned above within my mods.
Any mod that doesn't affect the vanilla form list ID name should still work fine with this mod.

New to modding so feedback would be appreciated.

Everything used in this mod is from a Fallout New Vegas Resource.

INSTALL:

1. Start Fallout Mod Manager, Unpack using the FOMM (FOMod Add File)
2. Activate it then, place a checkmark beside the .esp file in main FOMM page.

UNINSTALL:

1. Start Fallout Mod Manager, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Delete the .esp file

USAGE:

I created this mod for my own gaming experience ,am playing with FOOK, WME and PN rebalance and it fits in well. I thought I would share it
and hopefully you will enjoy and find it handy. Feel free to improve if you want to but please notify me and give me
credit.

weap model caravan shotgun - tougher, smaller spread, slightly more DAM, less AP
2.Wanderer outfit model armored vaultsuit - +10 survival, +1 PER wt 5 DT 5
weap model 10mm pistol - slightly more dam, 2 more rounds in clip
3.Mercenary outfit model metal armor(though made from some type of composite material) - +5 EXP, WT 16 DT 10 DR 10
weap model grenade rifle - less spread, slightly more DAM, less AP
