I never had an issue with this mod as it's been my main rifle in many of my playthroughs, my main issue is with finish of the rifle as it looks like the finish was completely removed as it's blonde which usually happens if it's finish was removed as SVT-40s were made from Arctic Birch or Beech then finished to look red or a brown stain or it was a Bulgarian refurb.
Is this added in by another mod. I have the SVT and I never installed this mod. Is it part of NVEC or something like that. Second it there a unique variant?
Holy f*#@ YES to the Krag Carbine, its my favorite rifle of all time, and i was a little sad that no one has made a mod for it yet. The carbine is very underrated and not well known, even though its very special and good looking.
There are mods for both the carbine and Springfield, but I think they use vanilla animations, and the Garand should be in the game, if you have the Gun Runner's Arsenal dlc installed.
Yeah, Doc Mitchell's house (where else) [if only he could be pissed with modders for dumping all their sh@# in his house]. It says in the description where to find it, assuming you don't have another mod which uses/modifies the same location (near his bed, I believe it was). Yeah I have the texture glitches as well with the AVT 40 and the SVT 40. SKS works fine though.

You can fix it with paint.net. It's a free download. You'll need to install the dds plugin.
Open each of the textures up in paint.net and save it. This will fix the texture. You need to fix any of the textures that end in _D.dds (Scope_D.dds, Silencer_D.dds, SVT40_D.dds in the textures\weapons\SVT40 directory as well as the ones in the Scope and Silencer folders under those) .
A lot of mods have textures that won't work unless your texture size is set to large (under video options while you are running the game). Opening the textures in paint.net and saving them usually fixes it. You may need to save it as DXT3 (Explicit Alpha) under file types when you save it as a dds.

i checked it's id with the GBO and looks like it's at the same mod
