      Because it's cartoonish and annoying. Screen blood splatter is cheesy.

   Awesome.
   
   I actually dont mind most of the gore in the game,
   but the screen splatter has always bothered me.
   
   This is the ONLY mod I've EVER seen that will remove the screen splatter!
   
   I just ended up using that part of your mod,
   but I do understand and appreciate your effort to make the game less gruesome for people who want that.
   
   And for the people saying "get the German version",
   maybe everybody doesn't speak German or pirate games.
