You know between this and the Nskies one I think this is better. I took a liking to OWB's night sky and this one is like a perfect balance of that and vanilla in nice quality. Thanks for sharing this one
This is an awesome texture. It looks more realistic than the default night sky. Endorsed.

You have to remember that Fallout New Vegas exists in the future where the only bright lights are coming from the Strip. Outside of the strip there is hardly any light pollution giving you full view of the night sky!
@BeefPie: He! Thanks I fixed the description. As for the dark nights, I noticed in testing that some nights are clearer than others but that was while running NSkies. I remember Fellout having much darker nights, if you have that mod running or a similar one then that might contribute.
EDIT: K, so I had the past hour and a bit of playing. Fallout is just awesome On topic, the stars are a LOT darker on my game than your pics. I do have graphic mods which I assume you don't (as you prefer performance) but a brighter one would be nice. And one with the blue nebulae or what not in the pics too
EDIT2: Your description also has a random "don't" under compatibility. It says "Don't NSkies will run fine" or something like that. Or I'm reading it wrong, but it still isn't that clear
