I know this is an old mod, however I wanted to post here how to fix the scripting issue with this mod in case anyone else has this problem. I love the way this gun looks and want more single action revolvers in the game so I had to find out how to fix the leveled list issue. It was actually surprisingly easy, and it also fixes the gun not being added to the Cowboy perk as well. So in the GECK load up the mod, go to "All" and type in C1849 and double click the C1849LeveledListQuest. Then drop down the "Script" box and scroll down and choose the C1849LeveledListQuestScript. Save changes and it should work. Worked for me at least. Like another user in this thread said a long time ago, the issue is that the script is not tied to the quest.
Love this mod, my only gripe is the lack of the engraved scene on the cylinder that all '49 colt pockets had. I'm trying to upload an image of my original 49 pocket, but I don't understand why it's asking for a URL and not a jpeg file or something.
In the context of the year 1849, "Pocket" didn't mean concealable -- it just meant you could wear it on your hip instead of needing a saddle holster for it.
Is there any way we can get a patch to have it use the .357 revolver reload animations? Historically these were converted to normal cartridges instead of black powder. They even make modern day replicas that have an ejection lever like the .357 does. This is my all time favorite pistol, and just oozes classic cowboy cool. But that reload animation is just really off putting.
Any way we can convert this gun to use ReloadM properly? My knowledge on modding is literally none but I guess there should be a way assigning the cylinder as a cylinder like 357 rather than an energy cell.
Late reply but i found this very easy to do using FNVedit. All it took was simply changing the reload animation from ReloadM to ReloadX. I don't really know what i'm doing but this worked for me.

That gave me the idea to convert this for play in TTW using FO3's .32 cal ammunition. Perfection.
gotta happen soon smh
