I think I have fixed it. By manualy "installing" the separate WMX-DLC eps : "WMX-DeadMoney.eps" -> "WMX-WMX-GunRunnersArsenal.eps" + "WMX-EVE-AllDLC.eps" (for EVE to work) + All preorder packs: "WMX-PreOrderPackCaravan.eps" -> "WMX-PreOrderPackTribal.eps" Into the Data folder of FNV: ...\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data
Then using NMM: just select allt the new eps files, and de-select the "WMX-....Merged.eps"
I did this after originaly installing the "Merged" versions using NMM. I also installed the 10.2 Mail Order Catalogs WMX patch afterwards.
(yes i know this is a solid 3 years ahead of your post :P) THANK YOU MY DUDE U R A GENIUS! I had no clue why this one WMX patch just kept trolling me nonstop and was at my wits end! so i noticed the "1" on the forums and prayed to the gods both old and new that this ONE post be about the error i thought i was the only one having and not some "tHaNk U 4 teH m0d M8 10/10" and lo and behold it was what i wanted and YOU sir answered my prayers! Can't thank you enough lol TO ANYONE WITH MY SAME PROBLEM OF FO NV SAYING MISSING MASTER OR JUST NOT STARTING DO WHAT THIS GUY SAYS IT WORKS! i can once again play fo nv with the wmx patch for mail order!
Now if only a decent sprint mod existed that worked with a controller that would be the only other thing in my fallout new vegas life i need lol
I was reading through the comments and I noticed a lot of people having problems with the WMX patch but no solutions being posted, so I've started this discussion to hopefully get some answers.
I haven't been able to find any answers myself but the vanilla mod works fine, it's just the WMX patch which seems broken.
THANK GOD YOU MADE THIS MATE! I was starting to think I was alone with this problem, I was tearing my hair out all night figuring out why it didn't work, and then I just saw this.
Rest assured, I can safely say that over one year later, it's still broken. Oh well, all we can do is wait...
