FYI- There's some weird issue that seems to be present on the The Shadow- Death Rides a Broomstick radio play that's in the Ghouls and Ghosts Radio channel. The audio has a weird doubling effect in the last 10 minutes or so. I knew there wasn't an issue with the radio itself because that was the only track it appeared on, so I went into the sound files and the MP3 itself has that scuffed audio.
Tried re-downloading that file and it's still there. I found a copy of the radio play on Youtube and downloaded the MP3 of that and it doesn't have that issue so hopefully that fixed that.
Come on tree dogs, explain WHY/HOW you were dumb. Tell us how you fixed your problem. Sheesh. People leaving comments "durr it's not working" then replying or editing "durrr I fixed it" WITHOUT EXPLAINING HOW THEY FIXED IT are f*#@ing retards. No offense.
Holy crap I love this mod! The 8-bit station is awesome... They're not actual tracks from old games, but almost like them right? Also DAT BANJO on Billy Bob's Bunker is so freakin awesome! Great work! Endorsed :-)
The 8-bit tracks appear to be primarily or entirely from NES games--either the original sound track converted or from the game's OST (which would also be a converted 8-bit track). I can recognize all that I've heard.
You can recognize all that you've hear on the 8-bit radio station? Well when or if you get this message, do you know what song is song #37 in the files?
I really like this mod, especially the "8-hit Hits" station (which I've listened to so much I know Fisto's story by heart) but with my setup I've had to suffer through it being very quiet--well no longer! Seems the author forgot to set two important flags on the sound refs: "2D" and "Dialogue Sound" (the latter being the most important) which is set on all the sound refs for Mojave News Radio. Once I set these flags on all of OWR's sound refs the radio sound level became normal! To do this easily use FNVEdit: - Set the flags on the first reference under Sound in OldWorldRadio.esp - Click on the last reference under Sound - Hold shift, then click on the first reference again - Right-click on the flag you just added and go to "Copy into all records"
I may release a patch if I have the author's consent.
- Open FNVEdit, and make sure to click the OWR box on the module selection screen - navigate to the sound folder under OWR, and click the first file. at this point, you should be viewing data on that particular file the right of your screen. - under the SNDD heading, you should see "flags" -- click the blank area and check the necessary boxes - select all files under "sound" by clicking the first file again and then pressing "ctrl + A" - right click any one of these files and select "compare selected" -- at this point a data comparison table should display, and the first file should be the only one with flags in that row - right click "2D" and then click "copy to all selected" and then do likewise for the other flag - close and save
I'm still wondering how come they put up with creating so much OG content for this game in like 2012 that can't be beat even today and it took only a few months for them. Unbelievable
Shot in the dark, but I'm wondering if there is a tracklist of the songs used? I'm trying to track down a few songs and am having a hard time. In particular, I haven't been able to find the version of "Nature Boy" on Consumer Goods used, and I'm curious who sung the used version since it hasn't matched anything I've found so far.
Hey. I am aware this is a very old mod and message board. So I apologize for the necro but I had an urge to play FNV on pc for the first time and modded it up. I love OWR but I'm curious if there is a way to make it not restart every time I open the game. I only have about an hour to play at a time and would like to hear more of the x-1 stories but have to listen to the same ones in order every time.
