Microfusion, or, in this case since it's a Tesla Weapon, Electron ammo version-options would make this better. Personally, I just dislike the regen rate for MF Breeders, and am actually surprised no one's made a 'faster MF breeder regen' mod or something to remedy this gripe. Other than that, beautiful weapons and models.
when i give it to arcade he doesnt equip it even after removing his plasma defender from his inventory and when i equipitem it he unequips it and goes unarmed even w a mod to force him to equip it
okay i may have encountered a bug with the hyperbreeder... the tesla rifle refuses to recharge after i poke through a few containers or speak to any merchant... the charge on the rifle is zero and does not increase until i unequip the rifle, equip another weapon and then equip the rifle again.... even hotkeyed this becomes annoying... also i am on the pc and have fnv ultimate edition latest patch
I'm currently using Project Nevada and I got my hands on the Prototype Tesla Rifle at silver rush. The stats on these guns, along with their appearance, correlate directly to being a "production model" of the prototype. (6 shots, 50 base damage, low durability)
I'm going to meta-game this and say my character took the prototype to a workbench and made her own personal upgrades to it ^..^
i've recently tried this great weapon but in 1st person view only when aiming down sight(no scope) the gun is (both colors) have the gun pointed outward as if the im looking from my shoulder and not down the rifle. however when i fire it corrects itself but goes back to that awkward position. i am using the weapon animation replacer FOMOD, does the old 1.2.5 patch fix this or is it conflicting(i only downloaded the main file) i'd really appreciate a response
i found a fix to my view glitch. i deactivated the animation fomod to see if default animations worked and it did as expected so i now set the fomod animation to have 1st person view have the weapons held like default. this is a little disappointing as i liked having my guns held like they are in 3rd person but i REALLY like the sight on your rifles.
i dont expect any update patch or anything but its a heads up for any new people to modding or what not, with that animation mod and wanting this gun, to switch their 1st person views if they wish to use the tesla rifles without the scope(which is also very nice.
p.s. to DeviatePanda, if you ever decide to come back to this and make a mk.iii, i suggest using the marksman carbine or anti-material rifle stocks

I get a base damage of 156 on it, with a DPS of 509.Is that what others are getting?

cielo is correct; you have to add a mod so the ai recognizes guns that have "permanent" ammo.
