When using console commands you should be able to open commands, use your mouse to click her and it should show an id center top. As long as its there, any console command that isn't Player. should target them
Always appreciated this mod. Is there ever a chance you could make a simplified version of this companion mod too, and get rid of all the loyalty/relationship points, and just make the quest a regular step-by-step quest?

This is great overall, but I really wish it made Sunny essential. It sucks when a bunch of enemies gang up on her and there's nothing you can do to stop them from killing her.
It seems with NVR 2 that if you want the amazing Sunny face from NVR 2 it sets Sunny to a kind of infinite wander back to the Saloon mode. Is there any way to fix this?
You need to use FNVEdit to copy the New Vegas Redesigned appearance data to this mod. Sounds easy, but it's a little more complicated than that. Still, I did it today and I've never done anything more complicated than making a merged patch with FNVEdit, so it's not prohibitively difficult. And so far so good - Redesigned's appearance with this mod's functionality.
Here's how I did it (disclaimer: this may not be the most efficient/best way to go about this but it worked FOR ME. If someone more knowledgeable about FNVEdit notices mistakes, please correct me. Also, mucking about with this stuff can do bad things to the mods in question, and your game. Use caution).
1a. Download FNVEdit and it's manual from the Nexus. Set up as per instructions. 1b. Open FNVEdit, right-click the list of plugins and choose 'Select None'. Then manually select New Vegas Redesigned II.esm and this mod's plugin, SunnyCompanion.esp. Let them load. 2. In the left, expand out New Vegas Redesigned II.esm, then expand out Non-Player Character (it will be a long list). Click the 'Name' header to sort by the NPC name, then scroll down to Sunny Smiles. Her name will be in red. Click on it. 3. That will bring up three columns on the right - FalloutNV.esm, New Vegas Redesigned II.esm, and SunnyCompanion.esp. Right-click anywhere on the right and select 'Hide no conflict rows' (that helped me not get information overload). Then, scroll until you see red text in the New Vegas Redesigned II.esm column (should be a couple things towards the top and a couple things near the bottom). 4. Under the New Vegas Redesigned II.esm column, left-click-and-hold one of the the red text fields and drag it over to the SunnyCompanion.esp column. You'll get two pop-ups - one is a OMG-you're-editing-a-module!!! prompt (wait for a couple seconds then click OK or Yes), and another prompt saying something to the effect that you need to set New Vegas Redesigned II.esm as a master of SunnyCompanion.esp. Click yes and copy the field. Do the same for the other red text fields (conflicts) under the New Vegas Redesigned II.esm column. When you're done, close FNVEdit. 5. FNVEdit will show another window with both New Vegas Redesigned II.esm and SunnyCompanion.esp showing and checked (active). Deselect New Vegas Redesigned II.esm (FNVEdit is saving your changes, and we don't want to change anything in New Vegas Redesigned). 6. Load your game, making sure both Redesigned and Improved Sunny Companion are active. Enjoy.
Again, this worked for me. I freely admit that I was bumbling around in FNVEdit and it's probably a miracle I didn't turn everyone into Easy Pete. Follow my directions at your own risk.
EDIT: Also, this mod needs to load after New Vegas Redesigned's .esp's.
Had a go at that method but the last couple of text fields under the NVR2 columns are empty, so I can't overwrite anything and the always-back-to-Goodsprings glitch is still there. Any ideas?
I see nothing wrong with everyone being Easy Pete. Jokes aside, this guide plus a bit of load order tweaking in LOOT helped me finally get NVR's appearance changes and the companion features from this mod working together, so thanks.
