Cool idea, thought it doesn't seem to add any cosmic knives to the inventory of the lobotomites. Or at least I haven't come across any. O well, I¿ll just keep killing some more than I'll post for confirmation. Aside from that, I could see this actually turning into a quest mod, maybe adding a way to get cosmic knives in OWB. I think I remember there being a lab that had to to with the metal cosmic knives are made of...Endorsed anyway, for the good idea and the potential it has for a good background story, if we go through with the background info told at the descirption.
With Version 2.0, Lobotomites get cosmic knives at level 1 instead of level 20. I don't think I'll ever implement this as a quest or anything like that. I may stick a cache of them somewhere. I actually made this about a year ago, when I was much less familiar with modding and the editor in general.
They only have them at a certain level range. I forget what I set them at. I did try to place them in the Saturnite Research Facility, but I got annoyed and gave up. I figure it's just as plausible that wherever they were stashed, the Lobotomites would have taken them all already.
You can let them know that I'd be happy to have my mod included in theirs! I don't use it myself because some bits of it conflict with other things that I have, but it's a great list of little tweak mods. Little things most folks might not even know they wanted, and which get lost in the deluge of mods that add god weapons to Goodsprings or obscure cartoon characters to random places.
An excellent point! I missed that little tidbit. I thought all that was just dried blood! Still, I don't know about all of them being perfectly clean and shiny. Seems like it wouldn't look right. Unless anyone seconds the motion, I'm gonna say that that stuff on the ones at the Big MT is caked-on blood.
"Compared to the regular kitchen knife, the cosmic knife is longer, stained red with cloud residue, and does more damage. Using Abraxo cleaner, one can turn it into a clean cosmic knife."
So shouldn't the Cosmic Knives in Big MT be the clean version?
Well, I wasn't really trying to make it easier to get cosmic knives or anything like that. I just figured Lobotomites should have them, since they were produced in the Lobotomites' native habitat, and Lobotomites like sharp things.
