About this mod

Located north and somewhere along a road from new vegas is a secret lab cunducting research into aliens.

Permissions and credits
This mod adds an area north of New Vegas were a secret military base that has existed since before the war has conducted experiments on alien technology.
after the war the base was abandoned for unknown reasons shortly before the enclave were defeated and became nothing more than remnants they found this base and began the research again boosted by more alien tech found at a crash site after a large explosion in space was seen they have developed a new teleportation technology.

Investigate what happened and learn how to make and use your own teleportation devices.


After defeating the many high level enemies found in this base the reward is a kit that allows you to build, dismantle and use teleporters built inside of old protectron pods.

to use simply drop the kit on the ground put the handle to the left when looking at the kit and the door will be right in front of you when built go into sneak mode and click on the kit for the build menu.

build menu consists of

Built Teleporter
built transporter parts (if you have the items and the skill)
Exit

once you have at least 2 built you can then enter the pod activate it with the door closed and get the menu to select a target once selected if its not the same pod you are in you can then teleport to it.

You can only build up to 50 pods as that is all the teleport program is programmed to recognize.

Once the quest is complete a new recipe will show up at workbenches called teleporter parts you will need one of these for each pod you want to make. you get 2 parts to start with 3 if you choose to kill all the aliens beaming in and dismantle the pod in the hanger however if you blow up the generator behind the pod it will be damaged and unusable.


Note
The creatures in this lab will be at least the level of the player with several boss level ones that need to be defeated to complete the quest. So save before entering and bring as many followers as you can as long as they have lots of ammo and good weapons.

Version 2
Corrected the opening explosion it now properly occurs at the entrance instead of the fighting alien/enclave npcs if one of them dies or you get close to the entrance but not to close the explosion will happen this fixed an issue where you could actually be killed by it if you were close to the npcs when the explosion happened.
Cut the population in half to reduce issues some have had.
Fixed the bug where they all meet you at the entrance you should now encounter them as intended while going through the level.
Fixed heading reading when going through the second door where you entered facing south but ended facing east.
Fixed the teleporter in the lab to give the proper message instead of the normal teleporter message.
Added the ability to disguise yourself as a member of the lab by wearing enclave outfit this ability ends after the quest is completed the effect stops refreshing and will expire.
Reduced the number of aliens that beam in to 25 instead of 50 the beam in one at a time with a short delay between arriving.
The quest can now be completed by either blowing the generator up behind the teleporter this breaks the teleporter and it wont be able to be disassembled or simply pick up the kit once the quest completes the teleporting aliens stop regardless of how many have arrived.
