The nest is just great. Lots of little light (and fireplace!) switches make it a wonderful place at night. I'm never keen on housing in external cells but then again - being able to lock the front door and shut the windows make it feel safe and comfy :-) As for the weather mods, if it's not breaking your immersion, just switch the weather if it happens to rain or something while you're indoors. As for Vurt's trees (Wasteland Flora and Terrain Overhaul) showing up indoors and being somewhat afloat around the house, I guess there's no other quick solution than to simply disable them in console (make a save, remove the trees and if you don't like it - just reload the save).
Gorgeous home, it has everything I've been hoping to find in a house mod. Just a small problem... I can't seem to enable the fast travel feature. I have run around the entire property (I think), but it won't trigger.
Is there a console command, or something, I could use?
Edit, Never mind, apparently I wasn't as thorough as I thought I'd been... it helps to approach from the road, rather than "as the crow flies" from Jacobstown. *sigh* I still am missing the lake, which I thought might be resolved by fast travelling after reading the comments, but so far.. no luck. However, it's a post-apacalyptic desert... reasonable enough to assume it may have dried up. I suspect it has something to do with texture mods that edit the landscape, Vurt's, or the mod I installed for the actual water.. but not an issue. Cheers for a lovely little house. I only just started playing FO:NV, and I'm delighted to find such a nice base.
This is first time I have experienced a major problem with one of your mods. I go to enter house and I jam in the door way/entry hall. Anybody any ideas to why that is happening.
Yup I did that but cant see anything untoward and I have had no other glitches or anything with any of your other house mods that I am using. I am presently trawling through the posts to see if anybody had a similar problem and how if at all they resolved it.
I did see other posters saying that Run the Lucky 38 was a problem but I didn't have that running. I will double check to see that I don't have any extraneous files from that mod that should have gone when I disabled and removed that mod in FOMM.
Okay I figured it out! I didn't have Vurts fully disabled in that when I read about the tree sticking up through the place, well it became pretty obvious.
I'm not a big fan of mods that make changes to every cell of the map. Vurts has effected more than just one of my mods in several of the games along with many other home makers and yet remains one of the most popular out there. I should have guessed that was it. Very glad you figured it out, my friend.
Absolutely. Brilliant. At least for those of us who would live in a wilderness setting. Bravo. How you can only have 586 endorsements is beyond me.
Details are gorgeous. Working fireplace, awning,"Tame" Bighorns feeding placidly. Perhaps I would choose a slightly different location, but that is only because I already had the homesite picked out, so to speak! That is not worth it due to the work you put into entire cell. Even then, it is not very far from yours.
Maybe an outdoor grilling area! A mounted Brahman Skull, hmmm... maybe a simple, but rustic indoor bathroom...Off to the GECK! But, seriously, well done.
Great mod. One of my favorite houses. Just 2 issues I've noticed. On the roof there is a "Umbrella weapons case" and it does nothing. The pond is also drained for me. Is there a way to fill the pond or is it some sort of glitch/bug?
Your first issue I suspect is that you're just not noticing that an umbrella appears at the table nearby and can then be removed by activating that case. The second one regarding the lake water others have run into as well. I would guess that it's simply some kind of mod conflict. If you check back through the comments someone may have come up with a solution. Sorry I don't recall. Perhaps just reordering your mods might take care of it. Thanks.
Give credit where credit is due and this is it. if you wanted that rustic cabin download now. walked in and shot a bear thru the window INSIDE THE HOUSE

Perhaps the section on the description page entitled "LOCATION and key" might give you a clue.
