I can't play G.I Blues properly anymore cuz there's the Orris guy and he doesn't move, probably cuz of how the map changes
Disabling the mod doesn't help, not even moving somewhere far from Freeside helps. When I go back to Freeside, Orris is fucking gone, he's on the other side of freeside you'd have to access through the door normally without this mod. In which there's no wall behind the door and orris is waay behind it. All he says would just be "Don't bother me right now. I've got to get back to see if any customers are waiting"

Why even bother complaining about it either, the team for this mod apparently gives little attention to patching these bugs.
Cant say i recommend this one, caused a Multitude of crashes within Freeside. Deleting and then going back into Freeside fixed it and was totally fine but i do have a few mods that may of caused the issue? Recommend testing lots though if going through with download..
I had the same issue and I fixed it by activating all the plugins that the mods adds, for some reason some plugins come disabled (at least with Vortex)
It works (that's to say freeside is open and one cell), but there's still walls where the entrences used to be. So far I haven't figured out why, I disabled a lot of mods and put freesideopen last in the load order, are the the walls added by a patch or another mod? I have no idea.
Maybe I should just delete them with the console...

Started doing some of the Freeside quests with this mod and started having several different issues. Decided to try to use the Freeside Open Remover and disabled the mod, but realized I'd forgotten to save outside of Freeside, so I re-enabled it. Somehow, that fixed literally everything. The Old Mormon Fort isn't missing assets, NPCs path-find correctly, and doors don't lead to voids. I don't even know how, but I'm not questioning it.
Its ok mod. But recomended not install this while download quest mod. I try Eliza mod and headhunting mod the npc was gone. Not just npc but also building was gone too. So i disable it and Freeside was broken was hell like just land without building.
If the author gets back to me id like to apply some work ive done to this mod in an update . we'll see , its an awesome idea and i found alot of fixes in the geck through my own weeks of debugging. I lowkey already have alot of work done but so far ive only used it for my own personal use , i cant upload it or anything until im able to get permissions
Is there anyway I could use this mod (while giving proper credits of course) to build on it? I tried a direct message on the forums but i guess they are down.
Am I the only person who is experiencing this mod perfectly? No stability issues or visual problems, everything is working properly for me, but is there a freeside open/fco compatibility patch?
There's a bug that leaves them restrained if you activate them before you're asked to. Try clicking on the NPC with the console up and enter this command: setrestrained 0

but the bugs caused by this probably need to be fixed anytime now. I love the concept of an open freeside but I hate the bugs it brings
