what this mod needs is to be "stream lined" aka you need a full list of the items includes in the READ ME file, you need to include the fixes others have had to make to this mod and you need to add controller support. get these things done and this will be a great mod
EDIT: after trying this mod i am going to say something the mod maker didnt say in the discription or video; a LOT of what is added is Fallout 3 assets meaning you CAN place them but CANT use them. things like (stove, grill and camp fire, juke box) are all fallout 3 base objects meaning you CANT cook on them. the Vault bed dosnt work and frankly there are a LOT of assets from fallout 3 in this mod that dont fit in FNV. use the mod for some items but there are better camping mods out there so ONLY use this mod if you really want a better bed not bed roll or a couch not sitting on the floor. the other thing this mod needs is a update / patch so it works with fallout new california i mean there is a work around for those wanting it but it requires an additional mod failing that if somebody could post the spawn code for both books found in goodsprings it would be helpful
I've run into an odd bug after playing literally years with no issue.. (and it is one of my all time favorite add ons for this)
When I go into the object menu - to spawn those items - the game crashes. I had installed some minor mods before I noticed this, but went back and uninstalled them and the crash persists: I can access the menu storage but when I click 'complete' to close the storage window the game crashes. All the spawned items (beds, containers) still work, but it means I can't access any new items.
I'm going to install this over the KDS file and see if that does anything https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/47531?tab=files but I really have no idea why this is suddenly happening. I can't think of any cause or conflict...
LITTLE UPDATE I reverted to an earlier save prior to those minor mods and KDS works fine. I THINK the problem was caused by a mod which made some items non-essential, letting me empty out my inventory of quest junk, and I'm guessing I threw away some misc undroppable item required by the KDS. But I can't think what that may have been .. the [sack] [map marker] i've never carried around in the first place.... LITTLE UPDATE .1 I took out that quest item mod, and went and picked up only one item I could think of: the "Terminal Access Keycard", and now everything work again. Was that an item required by KDS? I have no idea. But the problem has gone away.
RESOLVED I shrug my shoulders lol i'm glad it's fixed but I don't really understand 'why' it's fixed. that's the worst kind of fix, imo. oh well
Edit (03-05-19): i misread the instructions. looks like it all works. little whops on my part. =] i put a cinderblock fire on a cinderblock. my game is complete. -- -- -- -- 03-05-19 just installed the mod (thank you, btw), and i'm havin' trouble getting the books. i tried 'nading the truck, but it won't come out. using console commands to disable the truck work; though, i wish i didn't have to do that. i'll have to test more.

By "getting the books", do you mean the books to spawn furniture, workbenches, walls, and the like? The books lying in the back of that pickup aren't necessary to activate the menu.

i'm puzzled. i tried using the default buttons to activate the mod's menus, but i saw no popup. i'm about to try it again. here's hopin', & thanks for the info.
