This might be a bit outdated, but:Don't replace XX with Load Order, but with Mod Index. If you're using Vortex, it can be found next to Load Order. My Load Order for this is 13, but the Mod Index is 0D.

Tell me you didn't read the readme, without actually telling me that you didn't read the readme.  It's all there.

      Ref IDs,-Holster/Scopeless Pistol, xx000ea7-Holster/Scoped, xx000ea8-Holster/Sawed Off, xx000ea6-Holster/Revolver, xx000ea9-Holster/Chinese Pistol, xx000eaa-Holster/10mm Pistol, xx000eab

The readme says that xx is a placeholder for whatever your load order number placement is in your list.

So, for example, HolstersNV.esp is 41 on my plugin list.  If I wanted to spawn the scopeless pistol above, I would open the console command, and type player.additem 41000ea7 1 and that would give me 1 holster.  if you want more, change the last number to whatever you want.

This mod is hell to figure out, but looking through the comments I managed to figure it out, so ima put it here if others are confused.

Step 1: Read the readme and find the codes with "xx" at the beginning. For my example I'll be trying to spawn in the first one, which has a given code of "xx000ea7"
Step 2: Find where the mod is in the load order. For me, I found it under the "plugins" tab of the mod manager. For the example, my load value was "19".
Step 3: Here is what tricked me. CONVERT YOUR LOAD ORDER VALUE TO HEXADECIMAL! For me instead of 19, my magic number was 13.
    Final Spawning Command: "Player.additem 13000ea7 1"

Big Props to "Agammamon" for giving me the big boy clue 6 years ago. Hope this helps anyone getting into FNV mods in 2021 for some reason.

I really like the idea of this mod and I have been looking for a while for a holster mod. However, I can#t make the console command work. I am fairly new to using mods so I may have made a mistake.
According to NMM, the load order for this mod is 0A - so the command should be player.additem 0A100ea7 1, or player.additem <0A100ea7> <1> right?
I have tried a lot of different commands, but it doesn#t work.

Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

Textures are borked. Don't know what's supposed to be going on there. Also, add them to a box of items somewhere maybe?

This is such a good mod idea! Why did you implement it so poorly? PLEASE fix this so it's not a train wreck to deal with.

Agree with you. The text file gives the ids as (example) xx000ea9 xx being load order, in my case 18. tried but script not found. looked throufgh previous posts and modauthor states in a couple of posts that the id is xx100ea9. tried but script not found. What are the correct ids?

You can check the ID's by opening up the mod using FNVedit. It's just below the armor header. If you check it, the ID's are listed starting from XX000EA6 to XX000EAB with the XX depending on your load order. Hope that helps! (^_^)

Keep in mind that the load orders are a *hexidecimal* number. 18 in hexidecimal is 24 in decimal - ie, the *24th* plugin in your load order (including the main FNV plugin) is 18 in hex and the spawn number would be 18000EA6/7/8/9/A/B.

The 18th plugin would be hex # 12.

I love the pictures and really want to get this mod, but I am not a fan of using the console. might I ask why you decided to not put them in a container to collect during gameplay?
