"Exploring the master files of the New Vegas, I found a lot of different resources, which for unknown reasons were not added to the FNV .... you will not find high-leveled NPCs near the settlements, ... because this may destroy the balance of the game."
There are two Nightkin spawning near Goodsprings Source, They will kill Sunny Smiles resulting in failed quests. So that is the reason why those NPC's were not added to the game. They were probably only there for testing.
This mod is fine but I would advise to install it at level 10 or so, when you have gained some strength and done the Goodsprings quests..
A mod that doesn't take that into consideration isn't a really good mod; why go through the trouble of having to balance it yourself when there are other mods that do it for you. I say pass on this.
Does this mod add nothing but deathclaws past a certain level OR just too many deathclaws? I don't mind deathclaws but nothing but deathclaws would be boring.
DONT GET THIS MOD! My game worked fine til i got it. Never ever crashed...i get it then it crashes every 5 minutes and corrupts my save game. This mod is a peice of s#*!
wow im def downloading because of how challenging the people in the comments say it is. and dude, dont delete the death claws. if the wastland is too tough for them oh fucking well, they need to learn how to survive and deal with it. if you cant take the heat dont download it, im sure there other safer mods that that suit them. too many death claws? i say just kill em all and keep moving, go cry somewhere else freakin cry babies
You don't understand, and i like challenges and wanted this mod for more challenges but even i agree that having a deathclaw alpha outside vegas makes no sense, so re_read their posts, before you insult them...... They not saying delete them they saying put them in the proper place not outside new vegas. Deathclaws kill of the fiends , so the kinds of enemies the mid level wants to to encounter won't be there , except a baddie they can't kill, its bad design, and probably the reason why those spawn points were not used in the vanilla game( mod author said he didnt know why the spawn points were not used in game, so that could be a reason as could making the game have better performance)
Deathclaws and deathclaws alphas specifically are found in out the way places or caves for a reason in vanilla game. It allows the hardcore people go search out trouble, while leaving the mid level players who just wanna level up and do their quest alone to face normal baddies.
Ofc some deathclaws will be fine nearby, but if they blocking the main routes into new vegas thats an issue.
Giving this mod a try. I've been looking for something that turns New Vegas into an actual 'fightan gaem' as opposed to a desert walk simulator with "eat/drink/sleep" mode as an added option.
It's like, I shouldn't have to go and walk 5 miles in the snow from my base just to fight some raiders.
ok after trying it and on my way though the tut of the game following having 2 knightkin pop out a no wear spilling my tea on myself and almost pooping myself i like it add more spice to the overall liner world of fallout +1
