The focus in the game is Damage Threshold and not resistance. Damage threshold reduces damage by a flat value while resistance reduces it by a percentage. You should be comparing armors by DT.
You know what? Turns out I know how to work FNVEdit again so I can do more work on it and I wouldn't mind working on it again.
I don't think it needs bug fixes or the like because all it does is modify the DR of armor but I'd like to ask everyone if you think the DR should be increased. As I put just below me, I can't remember the little details of FO3 and it's DR for their armors. ...Although I'm looking right now at the wiki and it seems like they didn't have DT, they just had DR. So I figure that I could increase it, but at the same time I don't want to put it at the FO3 levels because now F:NV includes DT along with DR so it could be a bit much with both.
Anyway, if anyone likes my mod and would like to see the DR increased then put it here so I can get to work on it. And if you like my mod, then please endorse.
Sorry for the really late reply. I haven't checked on this thing in months because my time was eaten up by Skyrim.
I did hear the his mod added DR back to armors, so there could be a conflict yes. I looked it up once but that was a long while ago and I never used it so I don't know. I imagine that putting mine below his on the load order would have the DR at mine but again, it's been a few months since I've played F:NV.
I haven't even thought about this mod until I tried to get all my mods up and play F:NV today, unless I'm feeling very adventurous I most likely won't do more work on this. If anyone else wants to work on it or what-have-you then they're free too, I'd just like some credit.

I haven't played Fallout 3 in at least years, so I've forgotten alot of stuff about it. I forgot that you had DR in that game and since I never wore the Brotherhood armor I never even registered that it had DR. However, as I said above, this will probably be it for the mod; unless I'm really feeling for it but I doubt that. If you want to tweak it, by all means go ahead. Just don't ask me how, because I kinda forgot how I did most of this...

This explains both DT and DR pretty well.
