Going to combine this with my own mod that adds a -1/-3 AGI penalty to medium/heavy armor. I'm fine with there being a downside to armor, but run speed penalties are just annoying.
This mod is compatable with the XV advanced 1.5 enclave power armor mod i am using. Player not only runs as fast as someone wearing no armor, the gameplay is much smoother now. I don't get stopped momentarily or have anymore ctd! It has seemingly given my graphics accelerator a new lease on life. This is important when using many mods and 3or4 companions that demand more and more processing power.Thank you very much! Came back to endorse and say my character is now running at the speed someone wearing light armor would run.Could have been the rebooting of game.
the whole perk idea might be a bit more complicated than you think guys
This mod directly edits the movement penalty modifier in the game settings and globally sets them to 0. For a perk to work you would need a way to alter those values ingame when you actually get the perk, which is not possible in vanilla FNV.
NVSE however adds the SetNumericGameSetting script command, you could look into that.
P.S. the movement penalty would still be lifted globally when you get the perk, meaning not only you, but ALL NPC would benefit from it.
