Actually it's pretty easy to put the mesh of the 82nd Airborne on this custom mesh. I can share the edited mesh with people, but until I figure out how to properly manipulate the texture of this All-American to remove the Colt marking on where the sticker should be we ain't going anywhere.
This is my Sixteenth play-through on FNV and I love tweaking and Modding it almost as much as playing it. I always use Marksman Carbine retextured. That weapon is one of my all time favorites and this MOD makes it look Beautiful. I installed it on my current game with no issues. Not sure why people are having issues other then using global weapons MODS or using YUP. I highly recommend staying away from YUP.
Hey, care to share that blender model, and model of your M4A1, as I think I could try my hand at modding. Also the Marksman looks sick as FFFFFUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKK!
tried 3 more times, best I could get was world model working, but 1st person view was still crazy, checked in FNEdit and model names are correct besides AA and nif is called aa.
To all of those having issues with the All-American: this is most likely because you have installed Yukichigai Unofficial Patch, or any other mod that edits the All-American's Static entry. Open ALL of your mods with FNVEdit, and follow these steps:
- Go to YUP - Base Game + All DLC.esm (or whatever .esm for YUP you have) - Look for Static - Look for anything related to Marksman Carbine or All-American. I don't remember which one of the two. - Delete those entries. - Save your changes.
This does indeed work to fix the texture issue I used FNV Edit (never have before, so if I can you can) followed these instructions and found under the static menu 'MarksmanAA' and removed it. Checked back in game and all is good!
Every Millenia retexture I have downloaded works, save this one. As others have noted, the marksman looks fine, the All American is a garbled mess of colors.
I have the same issue as Kiremme. World model looks perfect, but when I equip the weapon the whole thing is pixelated red, white, and blue in first and third person. It looks like the Airborne All-American badge from the original weapon texture is being stretched over the whole model.

i tried rotating the texture in paint.net in every way, but its still broken
edit - disabling WMX fixes the issue
Edit -and to clarify, not using wme or wmx

Your All-American should look fine now.
